PROP WORK Using EagleParts 46-32 - Fw190A Spinner, prop blades w/external weights I painted then aligned the props to the prop boss with the help of UMM's PropMaster propeller jig. DECALS & WEATHERING Decals on ready for gloss varnish to begin weathering. After decals a gloss varnish seals everything up in preparation for Flory's Wash. OIL SPILL Added an oil spill with MiG wash the mounted the 600l drop tank. Exhaust stains have already been added. KG200 UNIT BADGE AND EXHAUST DETAIL KG200 Mistel unit badge is a custom decal BMW801 EagleParts 46-32 - Fw190A Spinner, prop blades w/external weights. Ignition wires barely visible. At least I will know they are there.- 86 replies

a great subject. I read the 177 is a most difficult aircraft to fly. Love the scheme and kudos on conquering those demons.

Many late (44-45) ETO P47's had OD legs. Gabby's D25 had 'em. Not sure if "Slick Chick" did. I just like the look. Heck yea on Fireball!- 118 replies

Hey guys. I am wondering if anyone can answer this question. There seems to be a "port" just below the shell ejector chutes. Any clue what they are? Attach point for bomb rack? Vents for external fuel tank? Gas escape from cannon? These ports are not present on the NASM collection. However, are resent on the RAF Museum collection and the sample on the Prague Museum collection. RAF Museum Me262 Avia S92 at Prague Museum Close up of the Avia S92 Best - Rick

Ha, ha Matt. I was wondering when someone would notice that. truly subconscious indeed, perhaps I'll discuss at my next therapy session. The HGW drama is on hold for now. I am going to draft a letter to HGW and get some solution and or recommendations. Really happy with the black base.- 86 replies

I used 74/75 on my 109G6 build and I could barely tell them apart. Vallejo RLM74/75/76 straight out of the bottle (thinned of course) The 74/75 color break is difficult and impossible to see. (first time mottle attempt, thankfully a winter wash was applied) Gunze RLM74/75/76 straight out of the bottle (thinned of course) Lighting coud be better on the G6. Regardless color break is not that good.

I love Vallejo Air Color. However, I am not sold on the RLM colors. 66/74/75 are just seem too dark. Usually a little light grey will bring the contrast out better. I just jumped to Mr. Color (Gunze) for my 66/74/75 mixes. To be frank, I am rather hooked on Mr. Color. Thins, covers and levels well. Works great at low psi for my mottle. Good luck.

SHE CAVED AND GAVE IN After begging, pleading, whispering sweet nothings and plenty of setting fluid, Slick Chick gave in to my charms and laid down just the way I like it. Kudos to Kits-World for their very workable decals. Due to the panel size on the Hasegawa kit the nose art right edge will be touching the cowling flaps. I considered trimming the top and bottom so I could move forward and pull the nose art away from the cowling flaps. Several test cuts on copies resulted in altering the nose art in an unacceptable way. So, FICE. Enjoy. Overall gloss varnish and the weathering will begin soon.- 118 replies

Σας ευχαριστώ ο φίλος μου. Love the emicolins Erik, I need a copy. l to r. my brother, me and my Dad at cousin Steffie's wedding reception, circa '89 Oopa! This pic was taken after several ouzo toasting sessions. Time to break some plates! You should've see the cousins slug it out when the bouquet was tossed. It was almost WWE/MMA epic.- 118 replies

Love the 1-piece dash and the open gills. 2 canopies! Zowie! Landing gear looks manageable. Separate tail wheel. Like that stand too. I will be adding at least one to the stash. Party on...I mean Build on!

DECALS Decals applied using Kits-World War Birds # 132028 for Perego's mount and EagleCal #107 for national insignia and stencils. Kits-World decals went down beautifully and the carrier film almost disappeared. EagleCal went down beautifully with no issues as well. Both responded very well to setting solutions. Only issue was with the national insignias as the setting solution gave me fits by leaving little deposits of "crystallized" spots. 50" national insignias for both side of lower wings. I threw on the (almost completed) Hamilton Standard 13' prop for a test fit. Will also finish the Curtiss Electric 13' prop so I can switch out from time to time. I like the look of the stubby prop boss on the HS. "Slick Chick" finally showed up and is all settled in and currently finishing her photo shoot.- 118 replies
