I'll be curious what you think about the mini drill press. I use my Sherline mill as a drill press, but sometimes it would be nice to have a quicker change option.

I had picked up two of the kits with a ton of AM. I ending up selling my HpH 1/32 kit since I had two of the PM kits and it's awfully big in 1/32. There are so many interesting variants that you can build. I have the Xtradecal X48185, Aeromaster 48-354 and Aeromaster 48-359 decal sets. I was thinking about doing one as an A-1 and the second as a B2/U4 for the 5cm Bordkanone.

I have two of the Pro Modeler kits in the stash. If you and @Martinnfb are up for it, maybe we can do a 410 buddy build?

I picked up some of the Hasegawa 1/32 yellow wing kits myself. Not sure if you know, but Lone Star Models makes cockpit sets for them. Vector also makes engine sets.

I should have mentioned I have a couple of the Pro Modeler kits in my stash. If I didn't have so many projects going at the moment, I'd try and build one of mine alongside yours. I think I was going to build one B-2 with the BK5 cannon and the other as an A-1.

Hey Rob, don't beat yourself up my friend. Your build is spectacular! And how often are you going to open the hood when it's in the display case? I have a few MFH kits in the stash that I want to eventually build after getting a little more experience with building car kits. Cars may seem much easier to build as opposed to planes, ships, etc., but I find them to be more difficult in a lot of ways. You can't fudge the paint job by weathering like you can with planes - the finish has to be pristine. And things have to line up perfectly or the model just looks off - more so than other subjects I think. You're quite the master on paint jobs, complicated fittings, etc. I hope to one day get close to your skill level! I also just wanted to say thank you for posting your detailed build logs. I always learn a lot from them, especially when you show the difficulties and how you approached them. Mike

Amazing detail! Great job! I have the Eduard 1/48 kit of the BF 110 - I thought it was big in 1/48, must be huge in 1/32.

For a minute there, I thought I was looking at pictures of the 1:1 version. Amazing work with such incredible detail!

Rob, amazing work! This is a really stellar build, but I have to admit I was very disappointed that the gas cap only had 18 pieces... On the VMS products, I haven't used them enough to learn how long it takes for them to cure. I don't think I noticed too long a curing time, but I'll have to go back and take notes. Probably a bit too late, but instead of CA, have you tried two part epoxy? I've used the 5min and 30min cure time versions in the past, but was curious and saw that there are some that are 1min cure time. Only problem is that the bond is super strong, so you better be sure that the parts are in the right position. I don't know if those products off-gas though. For metal priming on my PE heavy builds like 1/700 warships I've used these metal primers from Mr. Hobby. They work nicely. Paint sticks much better. VMS also seems to have a metal primer:

Hang in there Rob - it's looking spectacular! Take a look at VMS products. They offer a number of CA products, some I believe are designed not to fog.
