  1. Looking forward to the attacker. Good to see they're bit afraid to hold it back until it's right.
  2. I Just experienced how crap the kit decals are, these are well over due.
  3. Do it ! It's pure modelling pleasure.
  4. Great review, HPH are fast becoming the best resin kit maker out there. There's an Ohka in the Manchester science museum near me, I got told in my youth the holes In the seat were incase the pilot fouled himself!! I'd love a V1 from them also to go with the HK Meteor when Fisher release a F.3 conversion
  5. Like Cees says it's superb, the surface detail is unreal I've yet to see a photo do it justice. It goes together really nicely too, zero fit issues. Just the price really but there are deals on it now.
  6. Finally some progress! Decided on painting it Alclad dull Aluminium over alclad grey primer as I wanted to avoid the chrome/metallic look, happy with the result although it took a full bottle of Alclad to cover the pre-shading! I've just glossed it and that took about three good coats as well due to the dull finish.
  7. Damn the Israelis have some great schemes. Too job.
  8. I fondled the sprues at the Cosford show, pictures don't do it justice at all it's so comprehensive even the plastic seatbelt a look convincing
  9. I'll reserve judgement until it's production ready, hopefully they'll be able to correct the silly errors. The outline looks great tho and no doubt it'll build nicely. Pilot figure is stunning! Who's it by?
  10. Some test shot pics on hyper scale now, I've mixed feelings at the moment, the rivets dont look great and a wooden instrument panel!? On the plus side the Dehavilland spinner looks correct (finally!?) and the later elevators hint at later marks. http://www.hyperscale.com/2014/reviews/kits/spitfireiirevell32previewmn_1.htm
  11. Admiralty grey is the later colour or med sea grey is a good match.
  12. Sorry for the lack of updates! It's been a month since my last post! I have been fettleing the Meatbox and it just needs some scribing and it's ready for paint, in the mean time I've made some internal exhaust ducts from rolled plastic card and used an old cone shaped board game piece as the exhaust cone. I've also improved the kit gunsight with some Albion tubing and plasticard and given it a proper glass lense, you can see the two reflector lenses still with the PVA drying.
  13. Awesome stuff, they could've shown Jims built up example too. Long live LSM
  14. Sounds like the futures bright.
  15. I'll pass on the Spiteful but It looked awesome a Telford. Defo have an Attacker tho for my early jet collection!
  16. A grant for a model room extension?
  17. Great start I'll watch this with interest, TBM looks like one of Trumpeters better kits.
  18. Mind blowing. Really shows that the 109 was a dainty little thing.
  19. Looking good. Really enjoyed following your build, thanks for the tips I'll put them to good use on mine.
