  1. Sweet! Beautiful work Fran. Look forward to seeing the build in print.
  2. This is turning out really well. Great work on the 76.
  3. So probably won't be done this year now? Oh well, happy to wait if it means a 'ultimate' Lanc
  4. If it works set it to light the model
  5. Me likey, looking forward to seeing the wings etc
  6. Agree. Mine arrived today and itching to make a start
  7. Yum Yum, always good these Aces High Mags
  8. Great start. Luv the riveting work
  9. Southern Expo show haul!
  10. You've taken some of the window masks off. OMG what were you thinking; its ruined! Epic build btw
  11. Great work Arno. You've got as much aftermarket for this one as the other dio! I thought this was suppose to be easy? Joking aside I have this kit as well so following to see how you get on. Aaron
  12. Yep, well spotted! I need to add some snow pickup on them. One of the things on the list that got missed/ran out of time before the show last Sunday. Hey ho, she got second in the competition and beaten into first with the naked Mig I did last year.
  13. Thanks Mike. AK washes and pigments over the top then another blending wash to embed it into the paintwork rather than make it look like its floating on top if that makes sense?
  14. Cheers Bevan. Tutorial was excellent. Started at 9 and finished at 4 and still didn't manage to cover everything he wanted to do, but boy did I learn a lot. Want to redo the Ju88 now with the better techniques I picked up. How's that 109 coming along? Aaron
  15. So, here's my Trumpeter 109G-6 done as a quick build for a workshop with Jamie Haggo the other weekend. The workshop was crackin with loads of new techniques picked up and a chance to see the master in action! Winter whitewash was the theme and this was my attempt. Anyway, I finished it off this week and knocked up a base to set a winter scene. Aaron
  16. Nice review as always Jeroen When mine arrived it was a bit intimidating to say the least, but like you say a clear bench might help!
  17. Crackin Arado Ralph. Great scheme as well.
  18. Great work Rick. Rear wheel assembly is spot on.
  19. Kit and trolley arrived yesterday. Hurrah, looks very nice. Had one breakage on the fuselage but a clean break so should be easy fix. May make a start on it shortly as a little side project whilst other builds are drying etc.
  20. Ah I see, perfect, cheers, now for a web search!
  21. Jeroen, you mentioned Mr Hobby Acrylic matt coat. Is this an aerosol that you decant or bottle?
  22. Great to see this one back on the bench Rick. Really looking forward to seeing how it goes. The 190 is mint this should be epic
  23. Very nice James. Have you pinged these to Richard? He'll luv em. I used the same ones on my naked MIG 3.
  24. Thanks Steve. Got the trumpy G-6 in the stash and building one at the moment as well. Got several replacement props from various suppliers and also wheels and small kidney bulges from Alleycat. I use Makatar masks for codes etc so no need for decals. Best I start gathering the various bits up now. Thanks again.
