  1. Drivers going to have to lean a long way out of his hatch to see anything on that representation 🀣 It's a pity no other manufacturer makes a Chally 1 , the old 1986 Tamiya kit's ok-ish ( I built a KFOR one a few years ago) , but theres a lot of stuff missing from the boxing . I see Twumpy planned to do one , not sure if that would be much of an improvement though.
  2. Looking good , take it no seat belts in the kit or do they use decals ?
  3. Part trois of the xmas build ,
  4. It's good to see some nice engineering from them . Looking good Martin , how are you enjoying the Atom ?
  5. Glad you modified the gonadlas , they look great now .
  6. Sounds like an annus horiblis as our Liz once said , thats Latin for huge sh%t storm . I hope you’re well on the way to getting back on a sounder footing. You didn't miss much - just a bunch of blokes glueing bits of plastic together; the endeavour of which is truly nada compared to loosing your home and cars . Best wishes from the UK
  7. Mirrors Revell's approach with their 1/32 Fw190 , have to shave a lot off the engine to close up the nose .
  8. Or gently flat blade scrape it ?
  9. Well spotted …thats my 1/24 match πŸ˜€ heres the 1/35 version
  10. Part Deux of the Xmas build Only the two part per link tracks to complete .. #regrettablelifechoices
  11. I'm so sorry to hear that Hubert , all my best to you and your family, I hope next year brings a lift to your life.
  12. Nice one Dennis . Quite an oddly proportion design, I had to go take a look as wasn't aware of that one .
  13. Uh oh ...squirrel approaching ......
  14. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ•Ί 100% approve , have I? .....at all.?.... mentioned they may chip/reduct very well using odourless thinners .πŸ€ͺ Took me a little while to make the change but not going back . Tamiya / MRP makes a good undercoat as it is more robust. Oh and also they level very well , brush touch ups over sprayed areas blend pretty good. PS I thought Arsfix putting an RAF colour scheme in there was just kinda silly TBH for a first release , although if you can't do mottling or use an airbrush at all I guess it gives you a way out .
  15. Looking good , I take it the placards are Airscale stuff not with the boxing?
  16. RLM approved πŸ˜ƒ
  17. Yep twisted wire works well πŸ˜€ as does twig and sea foam πŸ‹
  18. Every review praises the ccanopy πŸ˜€do the wheels retract ?
  19. Its funny how all manufacturers struggle at time with nose cones, given its a simple shape . Good probe πŸ˜€
  20. Love a Vietnam 'toom , looking good Gus , I have the same airbrush , solid bit of German tech .
  21. Interesting seeing that they painted the wing root black (?) presumably for the same exhausty reasons as they did on the FW190s? . I've not noticed that before on 109s but TBH it's not my area . Poor old Heinz, apparently he got bounced and shot down 18 days after that pic was taken by a mean ol' P47 .
  22. Look , I'll send you this from my stash ....half the size, twice the part count , masks , PE , proper styrene , zero warpage...20x more fun . Just need ya ZIP code πŸ˜€ It's even got "those" tail markings on the decal sheet.
  23. Arsefix???...oh dear oh dear.....you're worth better than that Martin ....purge it now before the so soft Indian 'plastic' contaminates your bench .
  24. πŸ˜€ They are a lil time consuming but a simple idea -
