  1. Do you insist on chasing them around the village first ?
  2. Zoom Zoom , typical Tamiya , perfect fit , soft detail , not many parts ! It'll all be in the paint . 1/3 way built in one session . This tank is all about that 105 ! RUN OUT OF AMMO??? I 'LL CLUB YER TO DEATH !!! More another day
  3. That is a seat and a half . ! Had to check we were still in 1/48 !
  4. Wowsers , there's a lot of crazy stuff going into this GB .
  5. Used to keep stuff , then throw it away later ...now I skip stage 1 and most goes to bin at the end of a build I do keep track links if they are good though , although have occasionally sold of bulk loads of plastic links as I move towards Fruils more. I keep decals for a while, even though I can make my own or make masks on the silhouette ...probably just as pointless. Since I sell 85% of what I make , and don't like building the same model* over and over it makes sense not to keep too much stuff on top of all the diorama making materials I hold. * mostly true but is that a nice new Panther over there?
  6. Anyhoo the main event is ...my first ever 1/35 Sherman .... Shame on you Tamiya ....wubber twacks in 2012 ....oh dear ... And I may do a lil dio for it to sit on ... Laterz PW
  7. Don't diss the sand man ...it's very fine and can be turned into desert like ...
  8. Good Lord .......you've gone "all in" on this one Hubert !! Interservice rivalry, buried water , Laborde taking his wife !!( shades on The English Patient here ), treason , prison and a Lukeagraph obscure model , plus........ added camels Salute ! Give this man the prize now ! Fascinating backstory which I love.
  9. Can't go wrong with an 109 ! Classic airframe .
  10. Gulf War 1 ? Odd lil bugger the Sheridan !
  11. Be a cracking build - this is a short run (ie awkward) model ? Best I can do is share pic of a Mystere from my Newark trip earlier this summer
  12. Fascinating subject if I'd been asked I wouldn't have said these were in North Afrika (too late in war) , and clearly would have been wrong . I also know nothing about the aircraft Looks a great project
  13. Sloooooow down or you'll crack the transaxle ....
  14. I was on leave when this one landed , superlative Phantom ! I'm with Peter though , stencilling sucks which I why I avoid it. Applaud yours though.

  19. 1st Sept I think , of course we are six hours ahead in the UK ....
  20. Tamiya didn't paint that....take a bow ... thats a lovey job of work you've done ! Freehand cammo too I'm guessing . FYI It's the tonal control I'm digging , very sweet if that is all "out of the gun" as they say . I'd be digging in the oils ot get a similar faded look .
  21. I missed this , Peter thats a truly lovely Spit ! I love that paintwork you done 👍 PW
