Better than the old Bloodhound kit I'm guessing ? -
Still fighting this thing . realised the blue on the decal sheet didn't print properly ..so had to mask the national markings and spray more . And the rest of the decals are like the clonk I bought from Peddinghaus once ...turn to rubber/ chewing gum when wet rather than a nice film . It will be finished for next Saturday though

Re the static grass , best bit of advice I read was not to create "lawns " , as they rarely look good. After that I went for spotting the glue on the base (I use mod-podge as it dries matt) , and static grassing over the top so it looks worn out etc . Bit like weathering start with less and keep adding till your happy. Never made a lawn since !

Looking good , amazing detail ZM packed into a 1/48 th model . I need to pull out my Tamiya F4b and see how it compares.

Been after Hasegawa's early Typhoon for a while for a specific build . Last repop was Eduard in 2017, which has not shown it's face in 3 months of looking ....however picked up this original 1999 version last week. Probs paid too much for it , but what a great bot of boxart and uncluttered packaging .

May not be everyone's taste as he's a bit sweary and makes floaty things . Personally find him very funny , the anecdotes about "my wife's boyfriend" etc ...and his skills are improving .

&...........went for the build it in 6 hours approach , will finish it off in the morning .... ......it's all a good warm up for the winter glueing season for me . Too many stalled builds earlier this year made me loose interest . -
Can't afford to use GBP or go on holiday , hence useless Euro instead Also use them in the shopping trolleys as well !

No idea what I am thinking some days...I don't even enjoy making 1/72 aircraft...and find Airfix a bit "Dad's & Lads " rather than any good tooling. Probs will sit on the shelf till I sell it on again ...or build the whole thing in 6 hours in an air of contempt .

You know Prince Andrew too ?

Some nice cars ..I'm enviuus ......I watch way tooo much Vice Grip Garage ..and lament how the UK classic car scene is somewhat frumpy n dull for the most part, and we have a government committed to getting us all to drive cheap Chinese electric hamster mobiles rather than preserving nice cars. Regular Car reviews with Nick and Roman is worth a laugh as well if you know car culture

Ok the Jags stopped sulking .....it's the Jag honest . The show needs to move on as they say , so all in one chunk..... fill sand fill sand ad nauseum . Primered ...bit more filling and ok , bored now ..so PAINT . Gets the 1970s RAF Grey / Green "rollover cammo" scheme Come to the end of this and my nice new Hardup 'n Steenburger decides to play "spitty spitty paint" nonsense so parked it for tonight .

Entirely speculation on my part but the following would line up in terms of age, date and hobbies . https://www.pressandjournal.co.uk/fp/news/highlands-islands/6535247/motorcyclist-taynuilt-a85-man-52/

Nice save Carl ! -
I blame Martin ....on another thread he suggested One idea crossed my mind, but it is kinda silly. "Your first model, ever." So got me thinking back to probably 1974 . My first kit experience was either a 1/28 Camel my Father brought back from one of his transatlantic trips on HMS Bulwark or this Frog Bf 110 . it's 50 years ago...I'm not sure .... I'll go FROG. I have a distinct memory of this weird plane with the aeriels , and dad spraying it with a tin of grey car primer in the garage after I / him had built it. It took me a while to work out which model , but certain it was this one . Oddly there are still many of these knocking around , and not reboxed ones ; the original ones from Rovex Triang in Margate. So buy a 50 year old model I did....... but not for 39p . Inside it's ok , basic details not a lot of surface detail but no warping or much flash 50 year old decals ....noice ! This is it for instruction steps ....take note modern Airflups people ....KISS Did a bit of scribing and riveting just for fun Builds up ok Needs a bit of a file, scrape and fill but far less bother than the Jaguar ( no..... that will get finished before the deadline ) My memory re-enacted ....spray it in car primer ! Funny how little things stick in your mind . I was six ! base Paint n decals
