The colours look on point for post war RAF to me , the DSG and EDSG are tricky as contemporary colour pics tend to show them more blue than they are, but thats more down to the film at the time .

Meanwhile in the US ..

That looks like RAF Harrowbeer in Devon to me , very distinctive dispersal pits . I can't say for sure but 131 Sdn were there March -May 1944 .

Oooh, unrelated saw some BUFFS and a Bone at Fairford today . My mate reckoned 'BUFFS and Bones' sounds like a bad 1990's boy band .

MEK is great for plastic welding , and making sprue goo if thats your thing 🤣 Goes well with Bicardi as well I'm told . Don't use it a lot, but for small surface area contact the old Revell Contacta glue works for me as well as it "fills" better and has a longer working time than god old CA .
