What is on your bench right now ? Share a picture :)
PanzerWomble replied to Martinnfb's topic in Modelling Discussion
The colours look on point for post war RAF to me , the DSG and EDSG are tricky as contemporary colour pics tend to show them more blue than they are, but thats more down to the film at the time . -

So to answer your question Carl , yes it needed a bit of clamping and CA , I think the front was slightly warped ... First some weight in case it decided to tailsit Mind da gap Is all closed up and played ball Cue some tunes .... Everyone gets everything he wants. I wanted a chopper, and for my sins, they gave me one. Brought it up to me like room service. It was a real choice helo, and when it was over, I never wanted another -

Not a negative comment , just a sharing of technique for your next one maybe ? I'm a big fan of Mike Rinaldi , his take on doing tyres I found to be really effective . Also freezing vinyl tyres let you sand them if you're quick

2026 , year of "do new Sh!t" Last time I built a helicopter was .....er ....1982 ..same year as my damn car 😂 Trumpeters 1/35 UH1B has mixed reviews , namely the quality of the rivets ...to which I say "Meh" , will it look like a Huey ? It's all in the paint folks . Oh and a build log too ... Poor Match looks underscale . turn on.... tune in....and drop out...Easter weekend Bank Holidays cometh. Cue some sweet Creedance

Given the wonderful proper builds of 109s on this forum recently , this is clearly a Lesserschmidt . Profipack G-14 , packed away a while ago , when I took it out this week it just needed decals and final fix . Few crappy bench pix and we can move on . laterz PW

I used to like doing those old Tamiya bikes , did the 1/12 version of your CB750 . Really fun builds , unlike the 1:1 CB900 I once had 🙃

MEK is great for plastic welding , and making sprue goo if thats your thing 🤣 Goes well with Bicardi as well I'm told . Don't use it a lot, but for small surface area contact the old Revell Contacta glue works for me as well as it "fills" better and has a longer working time than god old CA .
