Odd no-ones ever tackled it sadly ....although it's in a bit of odd item and space, for me - only US used , missed Nam ...fought in the sandpits ....hmmm...not been a big hit film star...but would make for some gnarly weathering . Not overly big in 1/32 either. EDIT I take it the Dumpeter was a B Team effort ? https://www.scalemates.com/kits/trumpeter-02214-a-10a-thunderbolt-ii--136441 -

The Question for me is , now Im looking at it , is it surfacing dramatically with water pouring off it or sinking backwards ....? Your thoughts appreciated , as this could go two ways . -

Sikorsky JRS-1 with AM (Eduard) 1/72
PanzerWomble replied to Landlubber Mike's topic in The Great Twins Broup Bluild
Looks an interesting build Mike I've never heard of these , looks like a young Catalina . I'm always on the fence with 1/72 scale , but then Eduard should produce something nicer than more mainstream . I did a Revell Lanc in 1/72 a while ago ....kinda like it and didn't in equal amounts . -

Yes- he sold it to a new owner just before Xmas ( Facebook ?) ....just after I'd been binge buying tracks just in case .... Good news though and stockists seem to have them back again ...and he's not banged up the price either . Result , go Gabor ! New and old owner below ...I might be a lil bit of a fan of their tracks .... -
That seat looks outstanding Gus , 3d print not white metal ?

Post B-word , some European companies find it hard to ship to the UK , especially when it comes to claiming back VAT tax . When in Europe it was easy , now they have to be registered as a company in the UK to claim it back I know this from my professional life trying to import machinery spares post 2019 . I'm assuming the cost of doing that outweighs the value of the market, plus the arse of customs wondering about imflammable liquids etc . What we need is a decent model shop in Calais that we can day trip to , like all the beggers bringing back cheap cigarettes / wine in the 1990s.
