  1. Now THAT I want to see!!
  2. I believe also it was the last aircraft to be shot down in the European theater in WW11.......by someone in an Auster or some such, with a colt 1911....wounded the pilot, who force landed!!
  3. This comes under the categoray.....ok,decentish.....I want advice to up it a notch
  4. It was testors rattle can
  5. Its on the shelf now,but the angle of the wheels make me cringe.......but they were well and truly "busted"
  6. I put this on the shelf a couple of years ago,"finished".......ya,right! Ok,so it was kleared, decalled, matt coated. This I have also taken off the shelf to try and turn into a better looking dust collector. I have run some pastel washes over it.my question is......am I to late for oil dotting........or can I with what mix/ratio/colour shoot a filter over it? I can't say it enough.......the learning curve is amazing
  7. I'm trying to clear bench space for the TBM,on which I'm trying to use what I have learned here. This one was "well down the line" when I joined LSM.......I froze, and it went on the shelf.I took it off the shelf, and the lovely fella who fitted our A/C dropped a wrench on it.....back on a larger area of shelf. So,after that, off it came again, and I had my 1st gentle play with oil dot modulation,(ty Doogs)got it stuck back together(it had lost undercart and both wings),and battered and bent as it was, thought I would post this on behalf of we mortal modelers to say ty for how much we learn here
  8. Is that a nautical hat you are wearing in your photo James?.....And thankyou again for this amazing site.
  9. This can be the best forum there is....and is heading that way,if not already arrived, Yes,I would love to see ships, yes personally I would like to see 1 48 multi engine.....but above all else,I am happy to abide by what these poor buggers that run this site do for us,
  10. I have seen some mind blowing ship builds elsewhere....If the talent is out there,I love to see it.Why not here?.(But it isn't me doing the work)!
  11. I see rivets in your future Jeroen
  12. Hadn't seen the build.......I don't like it......I love it.
  13. Great shots......thanks for sharing.......anyone going to dare sculpt Cees for a Diorama?(Tongue in cheek)
  14. I don't know what will be the best, watching the builds,or them winding each other up.
  15. Yet another joy to see on this site.
  16. That really is quite incredible....nothing more to say!
  17. OK,time for a bit more. Getting close to closing up. Had to remove engine and brackets to resolve the fit issue. All should be ok though,as the firewall fits directly to the fuselage with a convenient "lip" I will however have to sand the engine down,to "stuff it" in the cowl. Although I have nothing other than a sheet and a desk lamp as my "photo booth",I hope that by playing with the insides of the camera, photo quality has improved.Anyway, here she is,getting close to hiding it all!
  18. I have a boat I use on Belwood! I will PM you my #,give me a shout when you are here!! I am over on the West Side, but as you know, nothing is far from anyone in Guelph!
