Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 11, 2013 Author Administrators Posted March 11, 2013 That would make a great website cookie notification Dave!! Here's the rigging started. Drilled the plastic turnbuckles through and through. Used albion tubes as well. 4
Grant Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 Gorgeous. Lovely work Jeroen, as always. Can't wait to see it sitting on it's "Max'd" out base.

nmayhew Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Sorry, only just had a chance to catch up on this thread and couldn't resist a re-quote!! Tee hee hee
nmayhew Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 And back to our regular programming, in addition to Dave's question, can I ask if you have any close up pics of the rigging, obviously where it attaches to wing and brace etc? Cheers Nick (Can never have enough muppets!)
WillScarlet Posted March 14, 2013 Posted March 14, 2013 Jeroen, what technic do you use on the cowling? Will
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted March 16, 2013 Author Administrators Posted March 16, 2013 Hi Will, I used Alclad Dark aluminum and hand painted the swirls with a fine brush and Mr Hobby chrome. For the rigging i use EZ line and Bob's Buckles albion tubes. Had to share this video i just found. The dog has a magnet in it I think and starts the engine:
Grant Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 Oh, I SO want that!! I've seen these prop/sound track things before but nothing that looked as good as that.
harvey boyer Posted March 16, 2013 Posted March 16, 2013 I remember this one ! Just awesome !...............Harv
DougN Posted March 17, 2013 Posted March 17, 2013 That is pretty cool, but who is in the cockpit starting the engine?
