No right or wrong way, as long as it works for ya. But it’s nice to have options. 1
DocRob Posted November 21, 2022 Posted November 21, 2022 I use the direct upload function, the forum supplies and like it a lot, even more after the PhotoBucket-disaster. What I do is to run my pics through the batch function of IrfanView, where I reduce the size of my pics to about 100-200 KB and apply my logo automatically. Works great for me. Cheers Rob 2
CANicoll Posted Sunday at 02:46 PM Posted Sunday at 02:46 PM @JeroenPeters I hope it is ok that I tagged you on this. I've been getting the -200 error for a few days now and can't post any pictures. I thought it was a sizing issue, but the pictures I'm trying to post are far less than 2MB. Any thoughts? Thanks!

CANicoll Posted Sunday at 04:53 PM Posted Sunday at 04:53 PM Hi Jeroen, I'm mostly taking pictures with my Android phone, opening them with the photo app in Windows to down-res to something smaller than 2MB. These are saved as a .jpg. This has usually worked in the past, but lately I've had the -200 error several times. Thanks for your help!

belugawhaleman Posted Sunday at 08:18 PM Posted Sunday at 08:18 PM I've been using my Amazon kindle fire HD 10 to download pictures From my Nikon digital camera for a long time and had no problems. Recently, however, Amazon "updated" their photo app on the Kindle tablets and created a useless mess!! I couldn't load images with my Camera anymore ! Eventually, after a mind bending struggle with this now useless App, I discovered that I could only get images to this "gallery" Thing I now have on my kindle through my resizer app then go to files, select, And put the Image on the Forum in the usual way....A real headache caused by a useless change in the app that offered no improvement.

CANicoll Posted Monday at 01:54 AM Posted Monday at 01:54 AM I just changed a setting on my cell phone camera. Seems to have worked... Changed to a lower resolution. 2
