Right with Gaz. You Superman impeccable work simply continues at your normal Superman pace.

As long as I don't run up on some kryptonite things should be fine. LOL :)

Looking mighty good and absolutely looking like an SBD

Painting in progress now! I hope the decals show up soon but they are coming from New Zealand so we will see. :)

Smoooooooooth as silk for sure. Looking forward to seeing the SBD in GSB

That Xtracolor paint does spray nice. I plan to let the Intermediate Blue dry overnight then hit it with the GSB tomorrow. I've always liked Xtracolor enamels. Too bad they aren't sold here. Maybe I can get one of the guys on the other side of the pond to send me some.........:)

Good work John on another one of my favorites! I remember seeing an account

of an incident during the war of one of these planes being jumped by I believe

Three Zeros. The SBD shot down one of these planes and if I remember correctly rammed another. Anyway, the SBD managed to survive the encounter. I think the

program was the History Channel's Dog fights. Keep up the good work, I'll be watching!

That's a kit I'd love to build, by the way.

Thanks Paul. If the enemy was over confident they could be in for a surprise as those people flying the Zeros found out. I plan to spray the GSB today but it looks like it'll be on hold until the decals show up. I can get a few things done until then like adding the landing gear, etc. :)

Medium blue looks so good: smooth and perfectly glossy.

Thanks Peter. I've always liked our Navy color schemes. The tri-color GSB, Intermediate Blue, and White can be very appealing but it depends on what a/c  is the subject. The SBD looks good in the tri-color scheme but not as good in overall GSB. On the other hand, the Corsair looks good in either! LOL :)
