JohnB
I think I'll jump in on this GB and build a 1/48 Mosquito NF. I've had the kit on the shelf for a good while so now is a good time to build it. I intend for it to be essentially OOB using kit decals, etc.

Jeff
Oh boy. A Mossie ! I’m in , John. One of my top fav’s. But the Boffins certainly ruined the beautiful lines by adding the big ‘knob’ up front. I get it, but still….. anyway that part is inconsequential to this build. As usual it will be top drawer. I’m looking forward to this….. Undecided right now on which one. 🙄 I hope it turns out well!

PanzerWomble
It's a good kit with no real vices . I found the canopy needed a bit of extra "fitting" on the one I did last month , other than that typical Tammy offering .

You guys are so lucky to get your mail orders in such good time. I have ALWAYS have had to wait AT LEAST a month for anything I have ordered, even if it is ordered within Canada. 🙄 Jeff

Jeff
Just now, JohnB said: Now THAT just WOULD NOT DO!! Why so slow Jeff? Just seems that’s the way it is. It has been like that here forever. I live in a small town 35 miles north of the U.S. border and half way between Vancouver BC and Calgary Alberta. Not like we are way off the beaten track. I have never got an order in less than at 3 to 4 weeks. Usually between 4 and 6 weeks.

belugawhaleman
1 hour ago, Jeff said: Thanks, John.... it sure can be painful sometimes... Sad to hear that. The mail here is pretty quick. Even orders from Australia get here within a week. It's amazing, considering the mail service is government run.
Peterpools
John Going to be a terrific upgrade to the kit and I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes, as I have the kit and would want to add it as well.
Peterpools
3 hours ago, Jeff said: Thanks, John.... it sure can be painful sometimes... Jeff What happens if you use FedEx or does that just make the order/items way to expensive? I'm willing to bet your normal monthly bills arrive right on time 😉

I'm willing to bet your normal monthly bills arrive right on time 😉 Not to high jack your thread , John, but... just a quick answer, if FedEx etc is used , it seems there is a 'Brokerage" fee attached, and that usually adds another 10-12 bucks and that is for nothing...and that infuriates me to no end... and oh yes, ALL the bills arrive ahead of schedule ! Now back to the Mosquito operation... looking forward to the next update installment, John..... Jeff
JohnB
I decided to go ahead and do the medium sea grey/dk. green camo using Xtracolor paints. Good paint I must say. Now, if the bomb bay set shows up tomorrow I'll be ready to get it installed, etc. By the way, the wings are just temporarily in place with no glue whatsoever. I wish all my builds fit this good!
