denders Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM Posted yesterday at 12:46 AM Now that the Bf110 is declared done, time to start something new. I've been wanting to get the 110 done so I can start on this one. When It's finished, it will be a gift for a niece. The kit. The AM that I purchased. I ended up with two of the oil cooler/radiators when the aircraft only has one. I'm not sure whether I'll use the decals or masks for the markings. I haven't decided on which markings yet. Two books that I purchased as well as others on my kindle app too. And two more on the way. And Paint. I couldn't find specific paint in my favorite paint (MRP) but found these from Hataka. And these were ordered directly from Hataka because I couldn't find a source here, until after I ordered these. I've never used Hataka paints before. It looks like it should be a fun project. 5
BlrwestSiR Posted yesterday at 01:58 AM Posted yesterday at 01:58 AM This looks to be a nice kit. A great assortment of AM for it too. Carl 1
DocRob Posted yesterday at 10:57 AM Posted yesterday at 10:57 AM Beautiful plane and a great kit, denders. I built it some years ago and absolutely loved the experience. I can´t remember any real issues with the kit, in fact engineering and fit were near perfect. I wanted to try something new with the build and brush painted it with oil colors, which worked better than thought. If you are interested, here is a link to my build, where we had some interesting discussions about the original and especially about the paint scheme Cheers Rob 1
denders Posted yesterday at 06:48 PM Author Posted yesterday at 06:48 PM Thanks Rob! I'll certainly have a look through your thread and save it for reference. 1
HubertB Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago It’s a great kit ! (I still have to finish mine, though) it can be a bit fiddly in some areas, especially the assembly between the seat pan and seat back, with the intervention of PE braces … Ask me how I know … Well, forewarned is forearmed … Hubert 1
