sandbagger Posted Saturday at 10:16 PM Posted Saturday at 10:16 PM Hi all, As the Sopwith 1.B2 model is close to being complete, I thought I'd start on the next model. The 'Wingnut Wings' Jeannin Stahltaube, Serial No: A.283/14 at Aldershof-Johannisthal aerodrome during 1915. This aircraft was normally doped with German Field Grey. However, it seems this aircraft had not yet had its wings doped, so were still Clear Doped Lined (CDL), Mike 5
DocRob Posted yesterday at 10:53 AM Posted yesterday at 10:53 AM I´m in Mike, as I have the kit as well, but will build it sand colored, like the restored Taube in the Berliner Technikmuseum. I just landed on Saturday in BER the new airport of Berlin, where the Taube flew, when it was still named Adlershof Aerodrome. As a born Berliner it´s kind of a home game for me to build the Taube, even when I live in Spain now. Cheers Rob
