Thanks Carl....I'm very pleased with new Trigger.

You wouldn't believe the trouble I had getting this thing!!!!!  Sent from Chicago to Beach Park Illinois, (43 miles) It took a week for UPS to send it.

multiple rescheduling of delivery dates (5). On Monday I watched tracking all day, only to have the driver say "It's not on the truck". On the phone

with them multiple times. Major headaches.

Craziness. I had much less trouble when I ordered from Iwata, even when it had an error in the address.

Speaking of Iwata, have you seen the special they have on?

Picked this up about a week ago.....

From Harder & Steenbeck,  it's their INFINITY CRplus 2024 Solo O.25mm Titanium.

Well,.....What can i say?  This thing is gorgeous. I've been very happy with my Iwata brushes but I've

Heard good things about this brand and I wanted to see what all the fuss was about. I hope to give it a try

this weekend.

BTW......this was the inspiration for the Trigger swap for my Iwata. I liked the wide trigger pad on This brush.

I use different iterations of the CRplus since years and absolutely love them as an ex engineer. Easy to maintain and always reliable, you´ll love it Paul. I personally use the Giraldez edition since one and a half years, it´s my favorite, despite it´s strange trigger, but have the regular edition as well.

Cheer Rob

Did another trigger swap.......This time on my Iwata HP-C+, once again, using Iwata part I-545-4.

Making this solid, well-performing, air brush even better.

A nice change.......And yes, I need to cut my nails😶

The picture of the Squirrel? Well,  that's just a bonus picture.

I've been feeding squirrels........Mostly peanuts with occasional cookies. They take food from my hand😀 A chipmunk

eats from my hand as if it were my pet.....Shows no fear or hesitation..... Perhaps that's not an ideal situation🤔

I have been also feeding squirrels, usually with Canadian or US dollars,  every time a new model is released. Recently there were lots of them, for instance Airfix 109 is on the way as we speak, or type :)

Oh, I've been doing that kind of Squirrel feeding as well. Everything in 1/16 scale ends up on my list! I also have that big ME 109 on my mind .

I hear Gecko is going to come out with a 1/16 Marder but, knowing Gecko, it probably won't be seen in a year. Feeding actual squirrels isn't cheap

either .....in fact, they're becoming increasingly obnoxious; demanding to be fed all day. Most of the peanuts end up buried in my yard......This instinct

drives them into a frenzy. I give them cookies because I know they will eat them right away and not waste excessive energy trying to run and bury them. This "Golden age of Modelling"  Is as hard to resist as it is hard on the pocket book.

Interesting, because there was one at my LHS today as well. Might have even been bigger than the one at your LHS. Guess I'm as weak as you.

Nice finds 😀

Here's a picture of an Actual squirrel I took today. He has only been taking food from me for about a day. His

first interactions with me weren't very positive.....Oh, he took the food from me, but he would lash out at me

with one of his (or her) paws. He soon got over whatever was bothering him and has become very gentle.

Well, OK another Squirrel...... No, what is truly remarkable about this Squirrel is its Size. It's tiny.......It's truly a dwarf of

a squirrel...... Much smaller and delicate than an Average Squirrel. Strange!! I have the pictures....but they are not

very good because of some marks on the window. Now I don't mean to flood the Forum with Squirrel imagery

but I found this encounter to be noteworthy😀

So you exchanged the results of your purge for a squirrel, good deal, Martin.

Nature abhors a vacuum after all. So it's good to make sure everything is in balance.

Some recent items.........

From Tamiya, their U.S. M113A2 APC Desert Version (35265) in 1/35.

Bought with points earned and free shipping off Amazon.

From Iwata , their Professional Airbrush Maintenance Tools.  I've been debating with myself about getting this

set for a while because of the price. Found it on Amazon for a little less and with free shipping. It has tools for the IWATA brushes I have

and I think it will be useful. The tools are high quality .

Let me know how that Iwata kit works out Paul. I've looked at as well and would be interested to hear on its usefulness.

It should work out just fine. It has a nozzle wrench for  Hi- performance and Hi-line type nozzles and Neo (not Eclipse). A soft jaw pliers that looks really nice and

is designed to take replacement jaws. A tool to adjust or remove the air valve nut. A pair of screwdrivers with guides to adjust the packing

nut for the needle. There is also an empty tube...to put spare needles in. I already had a nozzle wrench BTW. I need to replace the packings

on my older Eclipse air brushes and I didn't have a tool for this.  I know this kit will be useful, but I've seen this kit being sold for ridiculous

prices ...over $100. USD! On EBAY.  I paid much less on Amazon.

Martin, if you haven't already build one, that cargo truck is a very very nice kit.  I am just about done building one for one of my Hs 129 dioramas and it went together perfectly.  I think I've only built one other Tamiya kit (the F4F years ago, but that was cut up with a lot of AM), but after working on the cargo truck OOB, I can see why people swear by Tamiya's fit quality.  I originally had a SOL Model resin kit of the truck but there were a ton of fit and other issues to the point I pitched it and broke down and bought the Tamiya.

EDIT - I see on the what's on your bench thread that you already almost finished yours.  Very nice!

Thank you Mike, yes I was playing around with this kit last night. It goes together like a Lego. The plan is to implement it in the Ba349Natter lunch pad diorama.
