That looks great. Those US-applied stencils on the hand holds look good. More attractive than the German.

Oh, you also added the fuse star upside down.

Thnx!

I've learned to not touch my models when drinking wine.

What I do instead is look at them. Turn them and check for areas I'm not happy with.

Some mental notes taken:

• tone down the USAF markings

• add port and starboard lights to wingtips.

• paint aerial base black

Jeroen,

What's that white line behind the cockpit for?

Cees

Hi Cees,

I have no idea..

Since it's situated on the top, it won't be very functional for ground crew. Then again:maybe it was. To prevent them from walking over the top of the fuse onto the glazing (acces door)..

There's just soo little photo or written reference of the Watson Whizzers machines..

Very cool picture indeed!!! I wonder how the pilot saw out, lol!!

Hi Ralph,

Watching a documentary yesterday, it featured the american test pilot that flew in the 234. He said the view was great. Like flying a helicopter. Like sitting in your living room chair and being able to see in all directions.

Nice model so far.

I think it may the same type of sealant tape used on the Corsair panels on the top of the nose. In that place there is a bulkhead separating the cockpit section and the fuselage section.

Jeroen - you really are doing an A number one bang up job of this beautiful aeroplane and what is truly a great kit!! I hope and trust this superb level of kit creation will be carried over on to the forthcoming late mark Hurricane kit which I know I'll be investing in!!

Beautiful work Jeroen!

Regards,

Steve S.
