Hi All quick update, not all smooth sailing pinged off one of my gun sights lost forever so i made some new ones OMG still i think i pulled it off been busy nailing my fuselage getting close to appying wood decals, now looks like i only have big bits left in the box hoorah!! can't upload pics hav'nt got attachments under more post options any ideas chaps?

You'll need to use Photobucket or another hosting service, direct attachment of photos has been disabled because it poses a major security risk to the board.

   That's interesting, how did you make the sights?

It was a headache tryied a few ways but this seemed easiest .2 wire wrapped round a small drill bit then stretched spru layed on first cross hair and dabbed with plastic weld glue tack stuck then layed on second cross hair again glued just tack hold then with a drip of super glue on a piece of .2 wire touched on where the spru touched the wire then trimmed off the spru, you could push the cross hair into the wire circel with the plastic weld glue softening the spru. told you is was a headache...

Wow, just off the hook!  I think I'd be inclined to more WWI stuff if you guys weren't doing this type of work and giving me a major inferiority complex!  I'll just go back in the corners and play with my 109's....

Nice Darren, are those Uschi decals or have you been using your wood technique again?

Thx Grant and Jamme used HGW wood decal and my mix for a bit of depth

Albatros glossed for decals and some other bits then weathered/and tidy up all this weekend and engine in with gear also
