Masterpiece Darren!  I love what you've done with the wood and the nail effect is pretty dam good as well.

 

Watchout you don't get a splinter when you're decalling....

 

PS - which sheet of decal wood have you used on the fuselage?

Ehhh..... wow!

I love the wood man! Really nice.

Also love the elastic band on the tail skid you've replicated. Great touch.

Well, I think I know why I thought you should be a part of LSM .... Fabulous work Darren and to think that you believe you've made too many mistakes on this and are using it as a rehearsal for another model makes me shake my head in disbelief for what will come in the future.

Just adding some subtle post-shading to rudder

1st shot hardly there but from a few feet 2nd shot looks like this plus some dirt on cross

I do like the fabric effect on the tail lozenge is that Ushi decal?

They are called Wood & wire fadded 5 colour
