I get away with a lot, until i start sanding. That's when i get the evil looks... Here's a pic that doesn;t show a lot of progress, but took quite some time. Getting rid of seams. Hollowing exhausts. 4

I always say: I'm polishing. When you polish your nails, nothing comes off from that does there? --- little pause ---- Sanding continues! I always though they were native to New Zealand (called Weta's here). Learn something new every day. Our's tend to live in trees etc so don't see them too much indoors - which is just as well as some run to 1/32nd scale!

I haven't found any pics of heavy chipping or weathering BUT i felt like chipping. I used AK chipping medium. This works way more delicate than hairspray. First coat: Alclad aluminum. Followed by Micro Gloss coat. Then water thinned AK chipping medium. Then Mr. Hobby Olive. Cheers! 1
