Thnx guys!

Well.. here's some more tedious work. Snipped of the plastic WnW fins and replaced them with the HGW PE. Gotta be careful not to drop them...

You're making serious progress.....liking it a lot. Doesn't the set come with a template to help with the bomb fins?

I know you're still a long way off yet, so I'm looking forward to seeing the wings installed.

What projects next? ;)

Shouldnt you be back in die Heimat by now? Hmm?

I made the template. Looked at it. Set it aside.

Bombed already Jeroen  ;)

The detail those HGW fins make is amazing.  Well worth it.

Thnx guys!

I managed to get some done today. Finished all the struts. Gear, etc..

Now doing the decals.

Next up: weathering! my favorite part....

Wings are ready for weathering. Right now working on the HGW enhancements for the bomb-racks. Nice stuff.

It really adds a lot of detail which I think it can use. Especially if you don't attach all the bombs and leave some spaces open, like I will.

Jeroen, nice work buddy. Far cry from my attempt. You are right, the PE makes all the difference in the bombs and racks. Geez, they are pretty.

That PC10 is exactly how I wish I could get it to look. Absolutely superb job.

Clean photo etch and decaling, and on top of that, soft skin....

Great update Jeroen - I like the idea of leaving a space, most would fill it up  completely.  Good call.

Careful though, Jim obviously likes a bit of soft skin!

Yeah but if he knew about your M1 Carbine perhaps he wouldn't constantly admire your smooth skin ...

Looking Great Jeroen! I wonder what you are planning for the next build ;)

That's a great question! ... the GW GB's just around the corner so, has Jeroen Soft Skin run out of WW1 aircraft?? will it be armour next ? Hmm....

Thnx guys!

Like incorporates a beer can in his builds to show the sheer size...

I like to show off my soft skin. Here's the second most tedious part of this build.

The bomb racks! Done! Time for paint.

Cheers,

Jeroen

Hi Dave, Today I got some books and stuff for both the Snipe as the Rumpler.

James would interpret that as me swinging both ways, but the truth is I haven't decided yet :)

Thnx! More progress.

The central bomb rack is on. Gloss coat applied to forward section. And... first rigging between the gear.
