Operation "Torch" questions

Hey all

  I have a question for all the knowledgeable people on here. What aircraft did the Allies face during operation "Torch"?  I have a Trumpeter Bf109G-2 trop and would like to know if this would have been used during operation  "Torch" or if it came out later in the war. Also what armament did the Bf109G-2 trop have?

one 20mm MG 151 firing through the propeller hub and 2 X MG 17 7.92 mm over the engine.   Numerous Rustzatz available, too.

FYI E-7 has a fuel tank underneath, not a bomb (in which case it would be an E-4/B...)

Sometimes, the MG 151 wing gun pods were removable and would be put on or taken off depending on mission requirements.

Hi Nige

 It kind of looks like it's covered with a canvas bag.

I wasn't there...  But I would guess something hit the rudder hard enough to collapse the inner structure but without tearing it,  leaving the canvas to sag.
