Spent some time over the a-20 cowlings. And again, this is my take on the shape, based strictly on photographs

Altered piece on the left.

It looks to be the same or similar issue HK Models had with their B-25 cowls. Glad it seems to be an easy fix

I might be wrong, I took off only 1,3mm and rounded the edge. But it seems right on some photos :)

Thanks Martin and Peter! I really enjoyed it. Not a shake and bake kit but worth the effort.

Now back to a bench warmer, my Wolfpack F-14.  I've just finished re-scribing the upper fuselage. On to painting and installing the intakes.

The funny thing about XP-67 was her continuous transformation to improve aerodynamics, cooling efficiency and overall design. Changes were subtle, but evident upon closer observation.
Starting with some Tamiya epoxy putty to get the correct shapes.

Same here...the real reason I gave up on my big Trumpy T 72 was due

to the fact I had to mask the rubber side skirts on the beast..not a small

task. When I someday resume building it, I'm going to do the cammo version. Anyway, I'm sure your F4 will look great! Is that the Tamiya kit?

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate taping up wheel wells??

I use small pieces of soft foam. Cut a little larger than the well size and cram them in there. Never tape a single well.

Yea, this is F-4J #4 I’m building. I’ve got two more J kits left. One is going to be the VX-4 Bicentennial bird, the other is the Marine kit.  I’ll probably build it with kit decals.

I’ve done the foam trick before, but the phantom has a white edge that has to be taped off and the wheel well just isn’t deep enough to hold the foam.  Nose gear hole could have. I should have at least done that one.
