Grunhertz Posted February 10, 2019 Author Posted February 10, 2019 A bit more progress this weekend The nacelle is just about done. I will add the compass cover later in the build. It's painted in what WNW call DH2 grey (tamiya Xf66) and is ready to put to one side. I have also done the engine this weekend it was painted aluminium on the crank case. With Gunze metal colour steel on the cylinders. At the base of the cylinders I lightly sprayed metallic blue. I used fine electrical wire for the plug leads. 4
GazzaS Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 The gondola...or fuselage... which is it?... looks great! 2
1to1scale Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 I am following this because I fell in love with this plane since I first saw it. I have this one in my stash and I'm waiting for the patience to build it. Dont be worried about the rigging, i learned with another plane, its not that bad, just start with inner wires and work your way out. It also helps to pre-attach all the upper wires before assembly. 2
