Administrators Clunkmeister Posted February 15, 2019 Administrators Posted February 15, 2019 Awesome Hannover, Sir. What time period would this Polish kite depict? Obviously postwar, but late teens, early twenties or mid twenties? 2
Bill_S Posted February 16, 2019 Posted February 16, 2019 Another fine job, DrDave! Are those PE wheel spokes? Were they included in the kit, or AM?
Jeff Posted April 3, 2019 Posted April 3, 2019 Ok, I'm late to this one, and the whole thing is excellent, BUT, one thing I did notice which realty set it off for me...... was the worn leather look of the observers helmet, that is absolutely stunning.................... I looked at that for quite some time, it looks absolutely REAL............. how did you do that???? The exact right amount of gloss........ man that is good.....
Drdave Posted April 6, 2019 Author Posted April 6, 2019 Our all very kind! Sorry for not replying sooner... the wheels are aftermarket. The scheme is from around the polish war of independence in1920/21 the crew are matt coated, but the sheen just comes from rubbing a greasy thumb over the bits you want a patina on. It works!
