DocRob
Thanks Peter, compared to planes, weathering tanks is pure fun and less risk to overdo. you can add layers and layers without ruining the look and as the icing on the cake you put on some boot prints and smoked Gauloise butts . DocRob
Hola Senhores, I call the beast done for the moment and have to think now about my little dio. To get a 'used' look I added a lot of different pigments for earth depots and smoke residues. There were some different kinds of grime added and 'formed' with a flat brush and some odorless spirit. I left some dotted oil stains with a slightly glistening effect around the engine covers and maintenance doors. The pavement is only temporary and might be part of my little dio, if my figure painting skills don't go south. Cheers Rob
DocRob
Oha, the 'French Touch', the yellow headlight nearly slipped my attention, so back to the bench, adding some Chrome pigments and clear yellow, voila. Cheers Rob

DocRob
Thanx Mike, it's great to do some armor once in a while, it's pure fun and you can hardly overdo the weathering. Cheers Rob

DocRob
Thanks Gus, it's so much easier to do convincing weathering on tanks. One of my next projects will be a long abandoned Japanese light tank, completely rotten and half sunken on a beach somewhere. I'm looking forward to that.
