BlrwestSiR Posted March 8, 2019 Author Posted March 8, 2019 Thanks Martin! I'm hoping that I can make it removable after completion. One other thing replacing the tubes does is it lets you clean up the mould seams as they're a bit heavy and were somewhat inaccessible. 2
BlrwestSiR Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 One more for now. The PE set includes some bits to add detail to the ribs in the gun bay. But you have to drill out the lightening holes. So that's next. 5
BlrwestSiR Posted March 9, 2019 Author Posted March 9, 2019 Okay, I finished drilling all the needed holes and added the PE bits to the ribs. Complete PITA as you have to thread the blast tubes through them as well. But it's done and they do make a difference in the appearance. 6

Peterpools Posted March 10, 2019 Posted March 10, 2019 Carl Awesome kit and a great start. I do remember a ton of hand paint work just take take your time and it will come out perfect. I still have mine half done and keep saying I'll get back to it - just need to find the juices again. Looking forward to following you all the way. Keep 'em coming Peter 3

Hopefully you'll get back to your build one day. I still have stuff I started 20 years ago. 1
BlrwestSiR Posted March 12, 2019 Author Posted March 12, 2019 Ok, the blast tubes are all installed and even painted. I then cleaned up a number of ejector pin marks on the tray itself. With a coat of silver paint on and the gun pack fitted. Now onto the guns themselves. 4
GazzaS Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 Nice progress. How much of the guns and tubes will be visible when done? Gaz 2
Peterpools Posted March 14, 2019 Posted March 14, 2019 Carl Terrific progress for sure. Keep 'em comin Peter 1
