Thanks Martin! I'm hoping that I can make it removable after completion.

One other thing replacing the tubes does is it lets you clean up the mould seams as they're a bit heavy and were somewhat inaccessible.

One more for now. The PE set includes some bits to add detail to the ribs in the gun bay. But you have to drill out the lightening holes. So that's next.

Okay, I finished drilling all the needed holes and added the PE bits to the ribs. Complete PITA as you have to thread the blast tubes through them as well. But it's done and they do make a difference in the appearance.

Awesome kit and a great start. I do remember a ton of hand paint work just take take your time and it will come out perfect. I still have mine half done and keep saying I'll get back to it - just need to find the juices again.

Looking forward to following you all the way.

Thanks Peter! It's following along with your build and some of the issues that you ran into that made me hesitate a bit.

Hopefully you'll get back to your build one day. I still have stuff I started 20 years ago.

Ok, the blast tubes are all installed and even painted.

I then cleaned up a number of ejector pin marks on the tray itself.

With a coat of silver  paint on and the gun pack fitted.

Now onto the guns themselves.
