Wingco57 Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Not much can be seen from the radial, apart from a small opening everything is covered by the close fitting cowling and spinner. This one looks terrific. Cees
Guest Kagemusha Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Awesome. Is that rivet detail going to be found on the kit, or has it been added as a one-off? They say so on the Britmodeller post http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234934403-sh32049-tempest-in-132/page-2
Guest Kagemusha Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 That looks fantastic. I'd love to see the radial added if you can. You mean like this http://www.mcssl.com/store/fishermodels/sea-fury-cowl-engine-set
Administrators JeroenPeters Posted August 6, 2013 Administrators Posted August 6, 2013 This looks sweet.... Great detail. Just.. wow.. Love the tailwheel-well detail.
Wingco57 Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Having re-read this thread This kit looks to be a real winner. Petr, Some observations, the gun sight in your CAD photo has the glass screen the Tempest V was not fitted with. Do you intend to supply the retractable foodstep? Good luck with the ongoing development. It's very much appreciated. Cheers Cees
nmayhew Posted August 19, 2013 Posted August 19, 2013 Wonder if Petr and his crew were / are all in the US for the Nats over there?
petr@specialhobby Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Guys, I am so sorry, no news yet, there are some other projects underway now in our company. But we all hope to finish the Tempest this Spring. 1
nmayhew Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Hi Petr Thanks for the news Very disappointing but I guess 'it is what it is' as they say! Just a shame as you seemed to be so close to having it all ready? Best wishes Nick
Wingco57 Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Well, finished by spring is good news isn't it? Cees
petr@specialhobby Posted March 7, 2014 Author Posted March 7, 2014 We had to finish another 1/32 models so the Tempest got delayed a bit, but now with a full steam ahead! There are couple of photos of the current status for you: 3
Wingco57 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 That looks very very nice. Thanks for the update. Cheers Cees
Anders_Isaksson Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Great! I am so happy to see this one making progress, can't wait for the release. :) 1
Wingco57 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Hi Anders, Welcome, thanks for joining us. Can you introduce yourself at the introduce yourself-forum? Very curious to know about your modelling interests.Cees
petr@specialhobby Posted March 28, 2014 Author Posted March 28, 2014 Sometimes things are going slowly and we need to finish other projects sooner. This is the case. Today I have only a small update for you who are interested in the Mk.II version. It is the final (re-worked) design of the spinner assembly and front row of the radial engine. 1
Wingco57 Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Well that should be sufficient as not much is to be seen with that closely cowled engine and large spinner.Cees
Beychevelle Posted March 28, 2014 Posted March 28, 2014 Not to go off topic, but can you do a typ XXIII re-run? Pleassssse <insert puppy eyed face here>
petr@specialhobby Posted May 14, 2014 Author Posted May 14, 2014 Some progress with the Tempest wing details and rivet lines:
One-Oh-Four Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 Petr, do you have an idea when the model will be ready for sales?
