Was this deliberate and coincidental or may multiple references from different vehicles be causing something unintended? Whilst I'm here, is there anywhere that illustrates your approach to paint in a step by step way? Your style is very distinctive and seems to have a lot more 'white' (or at least paler shade) highlighting than I've seen elsewhere and I'm curious as to how it is achieved. No problem if not - I'm more than happy to simply marvel at how this is all coming together! 4

Hi Kirk, yes I think it's a mistake I made on the decals markings now that you point that out to me...ooops. Its gonna stay like that cause it would almost impossible to fix. in terms of my shading you are correct about the more white approach, I like fading a bit stronger than usual. As far as the process goes for the way I paint, I usually prime in light grey than do a pre shading in either brown on black at the bottom part of the piece and a lightening on top with either white or grey then I apply the main color and add highlights. oliver 4
Peterpools Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Oliver Very much appreciate the 'How To". I should have asked myself years ago.
Kirk Posted December 19, 2023 Posted December 19, 2023 Thanks for the heads up Oliver. Sorry about the decals. I won't tell if you don't. 1
