    The Shell station near our house jumped to $4.09 a gallon. Thankfully a bargain at Costco for $3.45 a gallon,

    It really was taken care of, Steve. Only 25,00 miles too which is great considering she's nearly seven.

    It does have a BAMA tune (I got the SCT tuner box too) but not sure on the specifics. I think I can look up the info on the website which I need to do soon. The Boss 302 intake does require a tune to support it and it needs 91 Octane. Good thing gas is so cheap in Cali....NOT! Eibach Sportline Lowering Springs. Also has a Flowmaster exhaust, which may be swapped out at some point, lot of cabin noise above 70 mph (but sounds great from outside).

    Thanks, Jeff! Actually just a GT with Boss 302 intake setup. It does look impressive though!

    It does have some warts, but I'm always up for a challenge. if you want to do a Trop version it's currently the only game in town damn near. Been Jonesin' to use my Hataka LW desert paint colors set too.

    I'm going to follow your lead on this one, I have the E-3. Biggest issues; 1: Cockpit is nowhere near reality (I got a good deal on Aries E cockpit on ebay). 2. Lower contours (oil cooler cover and lower fuselage aft of wing) way too sharp. Some sanding may help but the plastic isn't thick enough to fully correct. 3. Mis-shaped rudder (steal from Revell 109, it's a perfect fit). 4. No detail on for propeller collars on hub, this was a prominent feature (I've got some Eduard E-1s that I'm using for earlier conversions so I'll steal from one of those). 5. Wheels, easy fix (CMK). I'm sure there are more but those are the biggies off the top of my head. Good luck!

    This has the added benefit of pissing off the snowflakes! Need to get this one, I did the old Hasegawa kit several years ago.

    An E-1, I believe. Hopefully just a kit without all the non-model extras that drive the price up to $150.

    The Bf 109E situation is getting bad. Eduard has all of their's with the exception of one kit marked as "discontinued". Dragon seems to have taken a hiatus on 1/32 aircraft as well. Only source I can find is from China, over MSRP and expensive shipping. That leaves us with the Trumpeter kit which, really is a turd. Anyone have any insight on if Dragon planes to re-issue their Emil at any point?
