So when I am not having fun by building Tracks, I have been attacking the next best thing.. Injector Pin marks! So these have been filled with Tamiya putty and then sanded back with my handy Toothbrush sander thing I made... and then primed with Mr Surfacer Black to make sure I haven't missed anything. So the parts have been added to the interior compartment and armour plating has been glued into place to the main hull... So thats pretty much where I am now... I really can't do much more till the barrel turns up in the mail, which should be this week!

I'm am still waiting for mine to arrive too.. Looks like your going to get a head start on me....

Tracks are great. I will be buying them for my Jadgpanzer when it arrives.. Best thing about them... the 1/3 the price of Fruils!

I holding on the winter scheme at the moment... I am thinking of a Kursk Or Italian Front Scheme... Something like this -

So this has been moved up to the bench the other day... Its going to be out of the box.. Only additions will be Kaizen Panzer III/IV Tracks and RB Models 8.8 Pak 43 barrel... I was very temped with the Voyager PE sets that just been released.. but I withheld! I haven't decided on a scheme yet.. But I am leaning towards an Kursk or Italian campaign scheme.. I started off building the hull and wheels while I was waiting for the Kaizen Tracks to arrive from Luckymodel. In a few hours I had it looking like this, and Typical Tamiya! Shake and bake kit... I will be looking forward to the Jagdpanzer when it arrives at my mates store. I am pretty happy with the Kaizen tracks so far.. I been sitting in front of the TV each night doing a little bit at a time. So after three nights, I have finally finished one set of tracks..

So I have been a little slack on this over the last week... But got some progress on it now.. You can't see much of the engine once its in.. So I only painted the front end that is seen. I used Mr Metal Iron for this. You spray it on and its all dull... and then you can take a rag or cotton bud and polish it up to get a nice finish.. The front body didn't fit to nicely, but a bit of Tamiya putty and then nail polish remover did the trick nicely... I used Mr Color Dark Yellow as called out in the instructions for the body work, Mr Metal Dark Iron for the tracks. The wheels didnt want to fit correctly so I had to hold them in place for a while. And of course... I got a big dirty glue mark on the side! Vallejo Leather Brown was used for the base work for the leather on the seat and I lighten it few times to give it a worn look. Black is the base for the Drivers seat and then it was lightly dry brushed with AK Rubber So thats were it is currently.. Plan this weekend is to give it a gloss coat so I can apply the details and then weathering can proceed!
