  1. Ehm anyone else notice the curse of the LSM-F Christmas raffle has struck again. As Clunkmeister is unable to make the list of participants as of this moment
  2. Thanks. I'm quite happy with it too. I just experimented and got it how I liked it. And yeah iv noticed most people assemble to models mostly or completely before painting. And I personally don't see how you can paint everything do well when done like that. This is just the way I have learned to do things. What I will say tho is that you find yourself repainting parts a fair bit. I hope to learn over time what parts are best painted in the process of construction and what parts after completion.
  3. Just some small pieces. View ports and some bracket looking parts. And put together what I'm pretty sure is a jack of some kind. And lastly started painting an Axe.
  4. Wow what a prize..
  5. I'm In on both Gonna offer a £20 voucher/credit for a store of choice. Happy holidays to all.
  6. Put the drivers view port and bow gunner-gun together and then in place. some really thin and fragile bits around the driver and bow gunners hatches. And the air intakes on the sides of the engine bay. and then made sure it all fits together nicely.
  7. Some hatches and vents for y'all
  8. Absolutely stunning. Had to tell myself I was looking at a model and not the real thing. Great work.
  9. Moving along nicely Details on the track guards. Some hinges. Part of the spare wheel holder and a bracket And starting on the upper hull. and something of note. Atleast to me. The track guards didn't want to sit flat in there place. Glued down fine but without any glue or waight they sat like this.
  10. looks great the colours just go so well. excellent paint-man-ship (if thats a word. if not it is now)
  11. Well it's been a day. Snowed a fair bit. First true sign of Christmas. So I stayed in stuck on some movies and did some painting 1 coat 2 coats Painted the upper hull section. And to finish the night off. I painted and put together the two parts of one of the MG 32s and a spot of paint on a couple detail parts.
  12. Just a little detail now. Moving onto the track guards. (If that's there name. Sounds fitting to me) Did have a little issue with one side being a little bent. But used a thin pice of clear vinyl to hold it closed and once pointed that shouldn't be visible The troublesome pice. And set
  13. Looks like an amazing and very detailed kit. Would be awesome to do one like that myself one day.
  14. I'm sorry I don't quite understand what your saying.
  15. Very happy with how this turned out. Tracks are in need of a little touch up and weathering. But the rest of the running gear is looking amazing.
  16. Well I have tryed some weathering powder (dust) interesting stuff. Also doing normal weathering with paint
  17. I'm sorry I don't know what Fruil is. Do you mean like after market tracks? If so then no they are just the tracks that came with the kit.
  18. Well. What a month it's been. A guy at work left so there's only me and the other person at my work now so feeling quite tired after work last month or so. But here's some pictures. Tracks are really not going together we'll. They just don't seam to line up at all with the return rollers. Don't think I'll get it any better than this so I'm going to fix them on after applying some weathering to the track parts, hull and wheels.
  19. Got some more progress for y'all. It's Track Time. Spent some time yesterday dry fitting most of 1 side of the track. And then making the curved pice around the rear wheel.
  20. Well the colours I used were. From Vallejo. But you could probably find equivalent paints. The colours I used. 70.995 - German Grey. 71.072 - GunMetal. 70.826 - German Cam. Med. Brown.
  21. Actually. It is a panzer. Panzer is German for tank. Intresting video tho.
  22. Little update on the tracks. There taking a little work to get nicely covered especially with all the small holes and details
  23. Well it's been a fair while. But here's a little progress for you lot. These were a little hard to get together they were quite the tight fit. The rest of my time I spent cleaning these and putting them into the wheels. And all done.
  24. Did Little work on the wheels and also assembled the correct sprocket wheels as i made the wrong ones by accident. And these too all nice and clean.
  25. No pictures yet. And also very little progress. Was a busy weekend. And I had to replace the USB plug on my work light. But that's fixed now and I tested it by painting all thoes wheels nice. Well the black parts anyway.
