Uhh huh. Cool. You’ll knock both of those out of the park. Easiest way for me out of my Mug-23 blues is the HPH set plus all the goodies I have for it. I have all the AM including Zacto stuff for the earlier taildragger 23. Oh man that Trumpy kit is nasty.

Ivan, I’m looking forward to seeing yours and Martin’s take on this kit. Moldings are top notch on this one, and there is plenty of room for improvements in the cockpit with its of wire and stuff.

It’s ok. Typical for my threads. They go where they go.

Martin Hlavic? Where?

First impressions are really good, although the instruction booklet is typical Silver Wings hieroglyphs. Study the booklet then attack it at your own pace.

Looks good. Getting hungry!

Krakow. Sounds promising. Assuming you're into bestiality

My First Heartbreak 27/Jan/19
Clunkmeister replied to GazzaS's topic in LSM 1/35 and Larger Work In Progress
Gaz, this is awesome! I remember that kit back in the day. I loved the boxart.. two 109s on a slushy runway on one of those nasty cold that cuts to the bone freezing rain evenings. I get thechillsbjust looking at it. Go for it!! Finish this thing! I did mine back then as well, but from what I remember, it was pretty hideous looking. -
We are the Knights who say..... Nicht! Falco not here. hmmmmm

It also has very poor color modulation and the decal application looks like it was done without thought or foresight to accuracy.

SilverWings have arrived. Well, in this case, Klimov powered slightly snow covered green wings... very excited for Yuk-9!

1st LSM Christmas Raffle (list updated)

Guys and Gals, I wanted to take the time to explain something to y’all. I’ve gotten a few notes from members here telling me I should enter my name as well. i need to clear this up. I DON’T NEED MORE STUFF. And if I was in it and with me (as far as I know) doing the drawing, if I won something cool, never mind everyone else wondering, I’d feel crazy guilty. My Lanc’s coming, my Mug-9’s coming,.. life’s good. My personal belief is if you’re running the thing, you have no business being in the thing. Can anyone say “Conflict of Interest.” So, enter the raffle, encourage your friends to enter, the list is getting long, and the prizes are super cool. Plus, someone here’s gonna win an HK Lancaster kit! Ho Ho Ho, Mery Christmas everyone! And keep those Su-27s, Mug-31’s, CF-18’s and F-22s in the barn. Santa doesn’t need to be intercepted.. -
Now those pics look amazing!

I ordered some just after the pre order was announced and they still haven’t arrived.

Welcome, Tim! Good to see you here.

P-47D-11 finished
Clunkmeister replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
I get that with some airplanes, John. For me, it’s the P-40. No clue why, as it’s one of the most important aircraft of WW2. Can you believe I gave 5 kits iterations, and got so far as cutting cockpit plastic one only one. I love the Jug, Razorback and Bubbletop. They’re big, burly beasts. -

We say that about Arkansas. “An Arkansas Dentist must be one seriously lonely individual”, or “What do you get when you have a stadium full of people in Arkansas? One full set of teeth”. -

Great results John. It looks like a Jug to me. -

Been here awhile. All settled in and it’s home now. A real good and decent bunch here, seriously, this place is simply friendly, no bs or dissidents, and those who try get punted. build models, be jolly, have fun. And James has the inside scoop on HK goings on

Ivan the CZ.75 takes one feature from the Sig, an inside the frame slide. That alone makes it so much tighter and more accurate. The design has so many 1911 and Browning Hi Power features, but it’s got the added benefit of 60 years of learned technology since John Moses Browning designed those classics. The Czechoslovaks certainly make good firearms. Not bad with airplanes, either.
