    Generally when hit by a TOW or LAW, a well trained crew can get out. They have about 30 seconds until something cooks off. Russians, no problem. Syrian wannabes, not so much. Unfortunately in the land of small arms, tank crews feel invincible and become complacent.

    Interesting pics, Martin. When I learned to glide with the Air Cadets in 1980, they used Bellanca Scouts. When I towed their gliders a few years later, they still used Scouts and the occasional Citabria. No L-19s, not ever.

    Notice the swiveled tailwheel.... often seen, very rarely modeled US insignia and serials very crudely painted over. Very cool pics. So it looks like they kept the standard OD green with blotches from the AAF service on a few of the bombers. They sure look war weary. Mail service certainly is easier duty.

    And we ar growing very quickly now! Personally, I think that’s a great idea. We may be all on the cusp of something huge. But it’s easy for me to say because I know absolutely nothing about page design and website maintenance/support.
