  1. I have used Humbrol paints in the past. I liked them and had no problem with them, but I hated pouring the paint out of those little tins, always made a mess When I was stationed in England, I used to frequent a hobby shop in Oxford and I bought many Humbrol paints. When I came back to the States in '87, All my tins came with me, but alas, that was 30 years ago and all those paints are looong gone Cheers, Ian
  2. I've been told that its a close match to Japanese Navy Green, so I'll probably just go with that. Thanks for the tips.. Cheers, ian
  3. Hey all, Need a little help here.. I did some searching for Testor Model Master equivelants of Humbrol paints for my French 190.. I found the grey color so I'm good there, however, Is there a match, or close match, for Humbrol 75 Matt Bronze Green from Testors? Thanks, Cheers, Ian
  4. Iain, I'm following your advice about the installing the cowl flap actuators first. I just sawed all the pour stubs off last night. Definately took my time. Thin resin, didn't want to break anything.. Thanks for all the tips..... Cheers, Ian
  5. Wow, Erik! Real museum quality builds. The WW I stuff was truly amazing. Inspirational, thanks Cheers, Ian
  6. Doug, Great job, Love these inter-war birds... Cheers, Ian
  7. Graham, Where did you order your Czech decals from? The only ones I've been able to find is the old Superscale #32-33 Me-262/Avia CS-92 sheet ...and Rick might have answered my question for my Czech He-219 colors as well.... Thanks, Cheers, Ian
  8. Brad, Yup, the only known photo of a Czech 219
  9. Rick, Here is a pic of the 219 test aircraft I would guess that the paint scheme is similar to the one I posted above, but the pic makes the greens look funny. Cheers, Ian
  10. Hey all, Was hanging around the Luftwaffe Experten boards and found this.. Captured and evaluated by the Soviets, given to the Czechs in nonflying condition, rebuilt by Avia from wrecks, and flown in Czech service until 1952, Pretty neat, huh? This will probably be on my to do list with the other half-started projects in my basement... Any clue what colors its painted in? The blue is too dark for RLM 65 and the green..? RLM 71? Any ideas? Cheers, Ian
  11. Sweet! Thanks. That Ho 229 looks interesting.....

  14. Hey all, Just picked this up from a guy over on ARC for dirt cheap [/url Haven't paid much attention to these kits before, because I focus on military stuff. Couldn't pass up on the deal, tho... I got the kit in the mail and checked it out, and man, it is an extensive kit! Lots of fiddley bits! It wasn't what I expected. Looks like RoG has a series of these kits out..cool stuff Anybody ever build one of these before? Are they any good? Cheers, Ian
