  1. I am trying to add most of the details before I paint. It's getting tricky to handle.
  2. My nose conversion can be purchased at Reedoak figures. Adriatic is not responding to my email either.
  3. The steps I was planning to add to the helo are incorrect for the H34, this was pointed out to me at my club meeting. I made the correct steps.
  4. I am trying to get everything together in order to go to my club meeting tomorrow. There are so many parts no glued down, I am afraid to break things during transport so I am debating if I go or not. I added the cargo hook at the bottom today(no done yet).
  5. this is amazing. It looks like a museum piece. Stunning model.
  6. Took a bit of work to make those blades straight.
  7. Happy New year. Worked on the main rotor and the folding mechanism. I am trying to make the blades straight since they come with the droop with the kit. I tried Hot water(didn't work), I tried with the blow dryer twice and there is a slight bend still. I inserted brass rods in the main rotor first so I don't have to fight the blades and the angle when I install the blade holder brackets
  8. Many update lately. worked and finished tail rotor. It was a pain in the A@$. Parts supplies in the kit were just plain awful so I improvised a bit.
  9. Its so starting to look the part. Nice work on the decals. How dirty(weathered) is this going to be?. Pete, time to come to the dark side and build a helicopter....LOL
  10. Nose is done. It took 3 days to do the screens. I need to think about the tail rotor and folding the blades before closing everything up. So left to do is Build base build tow truck and find or create figures. ....and paint everything.
  11. Thanks Pete.
  12. Good start here.
  13. Your instrument panel is amazing. Looks like the real thing to me.
  14. Its starting to look the part. Just read the history on this plane...huh! Talking about Many issues. Its such a cool looking plane. This is on my list to do some day. Great job on yours.
  15. Thanks for comments fellows, I appreciate it. First half working on the screens, it takes a good amount of time to measure, cut, sand , remeasure and install. It glued small styrene tabs in the back of the screens to keep them in place . Here's how it looks so far.
  16. Finished the cowlings today. I started on the mesh screens( its a pain in the A%$ to trim correctly) will post photos when thats done. Happy Holidays to all. Oliver
  17. well thats looking rather nice.
  18. Great start but Did i miss something? is the wessex done? Oliver
  19. Yes, this will be a dio. My build are not always accurate. It's more a visual thing for me
  20. So I am debating if I add the heat shields inside the cowlings, if I do, most of the details will disappear. Help
  21. Such an elegant plane. Homestretch i see on this one. Looking good.
  22. Attached the doors with brass rods. Next will be trying to duplicate the heat shields on both sides of the cowlings. So many sub assemblies with helicopters.
