That looks just right in my book. Spectacular Pete. Is this for a museum?

Yeah I am reading in AK paints right now, not a great track record so far. I am gonna try their thinner, if that doesn't work I will go to plan B. a lot of priming done today. I am gonna give it a few days to dry since I used Acrylic polyurethane primer. I need to turn everything over and prime the bottom of many pieces. Painted the engine but so little is seen of it once installed.

Not having much luck with AK paint. so far not impressed. Doesn't work with thinner and 50% water diluted has very little coverage. I need to play around with the thinning ratio and airbrush pressure a bit. I am being told that AK paints are as tricky to apply as LIFECOLORS paints.

nice scratch building going on here. Looks sharp -
Redone the Capony tarp and added some straps. Starting to mess with cables and ropes. I need to age the rope....maybe coffee or tea.

I went to a club meeting this Saturday and I was lucky to meet someone who drove the same truck in the Army . He said that they usually have way more gear in the truck as well as driving theirs without the canopy on I. i am building the frame and will decide if I use it or not. The armor modelers also told me they usually don't prime their models because they don't want to have extra coats of paints on their models. Oliver

Spray booth was ready to go for the paint session but I forgot to detail the inside of the doors. It appears that this is holding me back for some reason.

I think this is it in detailing. Finished remaking the review mirrors, it took few days to complete. I added wipers on the small windshield windows. I am finally ready for primer. Oliver

Remade the doors and added clear windows. I will need to paint the inside of the window frames before I glue the two halves together. Still need to detail the doos.

This is just breath taking of a build. Amazing -
The windshield frame attachment had to be recreated since the kit part was sanded off. I am working on all the little details I missed during the build. The back wheels have no space between them so I have to created a small space in between to duplicate separation.

Thanks Guys. I glued the Window frame by mistake (easy fix)I think I will do windows up. This helped me.
