  1. Well, that needs to be dealt with. ...large plastic piece for the seats frame.
  2. Hi Pete to be honest I am about done detailing this truck in my head. Well, not so forth coming with secrets if you ask me so it's back to modeling books. I have to buy a bit more primer paint I think.
  3. Remaking the windshield, found a photo with 2 windows opened(did not know they opened). I started on the inside as well.
  4. Meeting with the top Armor modelers in Los Angeles today so I can pick their brains about the best way to paint this truck. Winch is done.
  5. I wasn't planning to mess with the winch in the back but I could not putty the seams correctly and after reviewing photos the kits part was a bit off for me. Made some corrections. Also added the front winch (still in progress) IMG_4916.MOV IMG_4916.MOV IMG_4916.MOV IMG_4916.MOV IMG_4916.MOV IMG_4916.MOV since the kits part doesn't work for me and needed imprivement.

  8. I forgot to detail the wheel area. I really wanted to start painting but I guess not quite.
  9. I really like the work you are putting into this. My kind of detailing.
  10. Doors open then. Added accurate mud flaps ,remade booth fuel tanks, extented tool box in the back and adding air filter on the hood. Last photo is the new addition to the family, we rescued him from a kill shelter, he loves jumping and running after the stick.

  12. Looks sharp. I think when Mr Tamiya died making new kits became to expensive and are concentrating on their RC line.

  14. It's getting close to painting. I am debating if I display the truck with doors open or not.

  16. Measure twice cut once. I need to put the helo on its feet in order to have the right cable length to hold the engine up.
  17. Pete, to be honest I am a bit apprehensive about painting it since I have never done any armor painting. Definetly outside my comfort zone for sure.
  18. Hydraulics cylinders installed. Crane is almost done. Will start on detailing truck next.
  19. My boss and I were offered the movie RUST about 2 months ago and we flat out said "no interest". Yes I have an Opinion about Alec Baldwin. oliver
  20. I handle all props for actors and teach actors how to handle weapons on movie sets. Glad u like the build.
