  1. Oh, that's nice. Strangely - the numbers aren't 109!
  2. So.... You snuck into his wardrobe and snicked a piece out of a pair of his trousers then !!
  3. Don't take this the wrong way but I love your leather !!
  4. I enjoyed reading it too Jim, nice review indeed. Grant.
  5. Did I mention that I won this on eBay for a measly £11.00 the other day? With the other tank I've got for the GW GB I thought "why not":- Sadly, because it was only issued in 1921, it's not eligible for the GB but I knew that already when I bought it. I suppose it was just to round the collection off.
  6. Errrr, are you sure you want to do that shade of black?? Only joking ... it looks spot on and when the salt comes off it'll look fantastic. Good job Harv.
  7. Whoa, nothing like a bit of bro-love going on here. Great IP Jeroen. As always, I wouldn't have expected anything else. Grant
  8. Delighted to see this Jamme, I have this in my stash and think it's a bargain for what you get. I agree wholeheartedly with Doogs. HB and Trumpeter are perfectly fine kits that some of the "experts" have jumped on for some reason ... perhaps because they're not Tamiya. Have you decided what you're going to do about the tail planes? (i.e. one side riveted and the other side - the incorrect side - fabric)
  9. I agree with Jamme. The red pre-colour is the way to go. Black always has a purple'ish tone to it in certain light and this accomplishes it.
  10. Nice review Jim - if it were me, I'd go for scheme E; white tail and the owl ! Pretty cool.
  11. Wow, great review Jim. I'm wavering on this ..... buy now, buy later. Hmm.
  12. You're welcome Harv.. I'm always ready to offer unbiased honest advice on tweezers or other modelling tools. I love the faded look you've achieved but wonder whether you went one coat too much?? Perhaps some chipping might help.
  13. Is that it? A pair of tweezers and a prop? Blimey .... I could do that!! Just kidding Harv... It is coming on nicely and we don't have to suffer all that really annoying hot and humid weather that plagues you in California.
  14. Excellent - I hope they respond with some degree of interest.
  15. Just been looking at the aircraft's specs. With an actual wingspan of 14 metres, this have a 1:32 span of 43.47cm's !! A big bird indeed.
  16. Ooh, hadn't spotted that one ! Me want too.
  17. Great start Jeroen. Looking forward to this as always.
  18. Quite interesting ... I'm impressed but would really like to see one in the flesh first. I wonder whether they might have taken a glance over toward the plastic modeller now that Eduard have released their panels. They've certainly got the range and the add-on's like the sights etc PLUS some of the accessories could be used to enhance display bases for models that match. I've certainly added to my bookmarks list.
  19. Oh yeah, looking for ward to this immensely.
  20. Well, it's definitely working Darren.
  21. Nice Darren, are those Uschi decals or have you been using your wood technique again?
  22. That's outstanding Jim ! I'm jealous as hell as I STILL haven't got past the cleaning up stage. PS: What did you prime with ??
  23. I'll do the same now. PS: Done!!!
  24. Thanks Chris, I honestly think we're both right and (I know I'm going a very painful place for saying it) Airfix wrong! I didn't know the theory behind the non-magnetic aspect though - I'm not sure I believe it but its a good theory anyway.
