  1. Sounds like a perennial bummer Peter! πŸ™„
  2. Thanks Kevin. I decided to redo the camera setup for a better "look" so I hope it will be a little better than the 1st try. πŸ€ͺ
  3. Thanks Peter. Those won't be much help when you need something for a model! LOL πŸ€ͺ
  4. Making some progress today. Cobbled together a "camera" using several pieces found in my "scrap spares" box. None of it related to a camera! LOL You will notice it is facing to starboard whereas others you see face to port. Obviously a test setup.
  5. No comment......😐
  6. Very nice front office Peter. Looking excellent!
  7. I understand that Dennis. The HC early Mustang kits have gotten hard to find with some folks asking ridiculous prices for them. πŸ€ͺ
  8. Fingers crossed. 🀞
  9. Thank you Peter. Still a ways to go on that. More "adjustments" and touchups. I'm going through my left overs boxes trying to find something that would be a suitable stand in for a recon camera. No luck so far.
  10. Coming along on the Vector cockpit. The resin detail is really nice but it's taking a good bit of dry fitting, etc to get things to set right.
  11. Should be a interesting build Carl. I'm in the middle of the Vector cockpit right now which will add a lot to the finished model.
  12. Yes indeed Ernie. Some pretty ratty ones for sure. This won't be one of them though. LOL
  13. Thanks but wrong version. No 20 mm's.
  14. Agreed Rob! LOL πŸ˜€
  15. Thanks Rob. That's probably correct about the wings but seeing photos of the actual a/c (and others) it's evident that was bypassed since the bird was derelict, etc.
  16. Thanks Ernie! I'm glad you like it! Something a little different this time. I've considered doing another one in GSB that was at the same location but we will see.
  17. Anything to make it work! I cussed that thing up one side and down the other! LOL
  18. I'd take a SH T-33 over a Fly Hurricane any day Carl. LOL Getting the cockpit to fit was the problem. I finally wound up removing some of the framework to MAKE it fit. πŸ€ͺ
  19. When I built mine a few years ago I got so mad at it, before I attached the wings, I threw it on the floor! The thick carpet kept it from getting too much damage and I was able to resume the build a little later after I had cooled down. LOL I swore then I'd never buy another Fly kit and I haven't! 😬
  20. LOL πŸ˜„
  21. I hope it will be of some help in your build!
  22. Looking good Peter!
  23. Really did turn out nice Peter in spite of "setbacks". Overcoming problems and finishing a build gives you a nice feeling (at least it does me!). LOL Well done!!!
