  1. This sounds interesting. I hope it comes to pass! https://www.facebook.com/mikro.mir.dnepr/posts/pfbid037GStYaVftCoB9mZ8asN9bojuvHvNHNcwHHTiQ5Vaj6Yj8kjnPmAPetBpNjrZpyRNl
  2. I'm waiting for this Vector nose and wing intake set to show up (tracking has no arrival date posted yet). So now I'm going to pause the build until then. It's the best thing to do as the wings will require some surgery for the new intakes plus the new nose will get installed after I add some weights and do some test fitting, etc. Much easier at this stage of construction .πŸ™„
  3. LOL Peter. I could still get up but it takes a while!
  4. Same here Kevin. DUH!!!! πŸ€ͺ
  5. Now that you mention that Kevin I think you are right! πŸ™ƒ The instructions are vague and don't say anything about it!!! That would explain why I thought I had lost one but there was only ONE in the kit to begin with. JEEZE LOUISE!!!!! All that searching through the trash, getting down on my hands and knees under my work desk, all for nothing! LOL Oh well, it won't matter if the knocked together piece "fits" or not since it really isn't needed. I'm blaming it all on PISS POOR INSTRUCTIONS. πŸ€ͺ
  6. Thanks Jeff!!!
  7. Here we are. After a little cleanup and any needed "adjusting" I think this will work. Sheet plastic and part of a old Revell 1/32 Bf-109 spinner. LOL Not pretty but if it works who cares!!!
  8. As we say Peter, ALWAYS SOMETHING! I'm trying to scratch build one using sheet plastic and old a/c spinners. It won't be pretty but if it works I'll be happy.
  9. I have no idea as to how to do that and don't have any casting materials, etc. Thanks for the suggestion.
  10. Unfortunately this build has come to a screeching halt! It seems I've lost a important part for one of the engines (pics here). I've looked high and I've looked low, in the trash, under and on my modelling desk and several other places. No luck. All I can figure is it must of somehow found it's way into a earlier batch of trash that was tossed out. At any rate I'm not going to continue with this build until I can get a replacement. πŸ€ͺ
  11. Some time in the fairly near future for the Typhoon I think.
  12. I agree Peter and I have sold some off a while back but since have made up for it with more kits! LOL Just received 2 today, another Trumpeter -4 Corsair and a Hasegawa 1/48 Typhoon.
  13. Looking good Peter. The replacement spinner sure helps the looks doesn't it.
  14. Thank you Phil. Unfortunately my stash isn't shrinking as I keep adding to it! LOL
  15. Thank you Peter. πŸ™„
  16. Me too Gaz! πŸ™„
  17. I have the Anigrand 1/72 resin kit for this a/c and just never have gotten around to building it. I think that will change soon!
  18. Me too Carl. One of those things.
  19. Agreed Hubert. Too bad the B-51 didn't get the go-ahead as I really like that a/c. It was in a movie with William Holden named Toward the Unknown.
  20. Outstanding work Kevin! Now I wish I hadn't sold my unbuilt kit off!!!
  21. Thanks Gaz! It should make a nice looking bird after all is said and done. My understanding as to the change in designation was because the Martin B-26 Marauder was being phased out of inventory. The Air Force no longer used the "A" for attack designation so I guess they decided it was only natural to re-designate the A-26 Invader with the "B" suffix. Sure has caused a lot of confusion over the years. πŸ€ͺ
  22. Proceeding right along with this one. I had to add a gun sight, compass and and seat belts from my stash of leftovers. The resin wheels are True Details although I might not use them as the kit items are a bit more accurate for a "K" but have no tread.
  23. I know what you mean Peter. Sure can be a PITA! πŸ€ͺ
  24. Red in this diagram so I guess they could be either color.
  25. How's this Peter? https://ww2aircraft.net/forum/threads/sbc-small-bomb-container-request.19403/
