May I suggest Hubert that you purchase one and try to build it? If you are a scratch builder at heart this might be your cup of tea.

Good call I think Peter! Here's a link to their Vampire, https://www.infinitymodels.cz/en/pripravujeme/vampire/
-
When word gets around they won't be able to sell many kits. Not until they make some drastic improvements. ð
-
Those guys should post a blanket apology for inflicting this piece of junk on us. Really does hurt their reputation. ðĪŠ
-
LOL Dennis. If you do then be prepared for a high cuss factor build! I think they had the "C" team on this one, certainly not, I hope, the "A" or "B" team.
-
I'd recommend waiting for a kit review Peter before forking out any $$$ for what might be another crappy kit.
-
Once I get the windscreen corrected I just wonder what will be next. Those guys at Infinity need to get their act together. As for me, I won't be buying any more of their kits. ð
-
I decided to set the windscreen in place just to check the fit. Here's what I found. ALWAYS gotta be SOMETHING!!!
-
Finally got the fuselage halves together. With no locating pins/holes it's difficult to get things mated up just right as you can see my all the filler. Oh well!ðĪŠ
-
Thanks Martin. It certainly is a challenge and a real PITA sometimes. I don't blame you for not wanting to tackle it and at times I wish I hadn't! ðĪŠ
-
Thank you Peter.
-
Thank you Neil. It should make a really nice model but it isn't even close to a easy build. ð

-
It certainly is delicate and will make a really nice addition to the model. Stay tuned!

I just received this VERY nice seat for the SB2C from RESIN2detail. Really nice! I just hope I don't break anything when I go to remove the casting runners. ðĪŠ

Thanks. Not too bad I suppose. A lot better than it was before trimming the bulkheads!
-

Fortunately they didn't completely strip the cockpit but they DID leave off a couple of things like the trim wheel on the left of the pilot's seat. A noticeable absence if you are aware of how the "real thing" looked. If I didn't have a copy of the Detail & Scale SB2C book I wouldn't have noticed it. At this point I kind of wish I had bit the bullet and forked out for the complete Resin2detail cockpit set. ð

Thank you Dennis. If all goes well it should make a nice looking model.
-
LOL ð
-
Yep, they could have done better. Leaves the door open for us to be "creative"! ð
-
Thanks Peter. I've done some "readjusting" to some of the part locations to more closely resemble the real thing.
-
Thanks Andy. I've done some trimming and test fitting already and agree, lots of trimming needed. Their instructions leave a lot to be desired. John
