  1. Should build up to be a nice one Peter. It will go well with the Navy version previously built.
  2. This is my next build, a USAF A-1 Skyraider. I've built the USN version previously so now it's time for the USAF version. Comes in a BIG box with LOTS of parts. This one has the armament set included so I won't have to purchase that extra. Stay tuned!
  3. Thank you Peter. It might could use a little more but I'll leave it as is.
  4. Thanks Carl! I went through it this AM and clipped off the MANY little molding tabs. I'll keep it on the bench to work on while I'm building the ZM Skyraider. A bit here and a bit there, etc.
  5. Just for grins, here's the Tamiya kit I built something like 20 years ago. (Now I might just put the RF kit on hold and turn to something else.) Click on the pics for best resolution and slide show.
  6. Agreed Phil!!! I bought a Tamiya kit on ebay earlier today so for now I can concentrate on other parts of the build. (It turns out I built a Tamiya one some years back. I had forgotten about it but it is in one of my cases.)
  7. Same here Peter!
  8. Instead of using the fiddly kit track parts I'm going to substitute vinyl tracks from a Tamiya M4A3E8. It looks like they will work okay and spare me the high cuss-factor of the RF tracks. Fingers crossed.
  9. Thanks Tim. The Panther is still available.
  10. Thanks Phil. No interior on this one. 😀
  11. A change of pace Gaz. I haven't build a tank in years.
  12. Thanks for the info Carl! I'm sure it will be of help.
  13. LOL Agreed Peter! I'll work on this one along with a ZM Skyraider (whenever it shows up!). Two on the bench at the same time.
  14. Okay guys, this one is out of my comfort zone as I seldom build armor. I really like this version of the Sherman and this looks to be a very good kit so I think I will take the plunge. The main thing that puts me off is the tracks. As you can see, they are made up of a butt-load of small fiddly pieces that have to be assembled just right. I'm going to give it a try but am making no promises! LOL Maybe I should call this my "Out of my friggin' mind build!" We will see! (It's likely this will be one I work on from time to time.)
  15. Thinking about it Peter.
  16. Pretty bad alright and way more than I want to deal with. Undecided on the next build but I have a ZM USAF Skyraider on the way so maybe that one. We will see.
  17. I think it's time to put this SOB aside again. I'm just not up to dealing with this type of headache. I'll return to it "later". ☹️
  18. The B and C were practically identical as far as I know. No conversion that I know of.
  19. Thanks Peter! I'm pleased that you like it.
  20. I'll work on this one for a while just to have something on the bench. I may set it aside again if and when I decide to go to something else. We'll see......
  21. Now it's time to resume work on this one. The replacement clear parts and exhausts from Aerocraft Models will go a long way towards making this a nice model.
  22. Thank you Kai! I'm pleased you like the results of my efforts!
