I'm curious as to which is the better kit. I have the Must Have kit but am undecided whether or not to get the ICM version. Do any of you have some info? Thanks in advance.

Looking good Gaz. Great winter camo! -
I expect you will be well occupied building, napping, etc. Hopefully your chemo won't interfere with it. That just would not do! LOL
-
I look forward to watching this thread!

Good luck with that Carl! Should be really neat!!
-
Some progress. Drilled out the lightening holes in the cockpit bulkheads, painted the Grey Green interior parts (thanks to BillS for the paint!), the black parts and painted the seat.

Thanks Dennis. Yep, seniority has it's place! LOL I look forward to seeing your build.

I've made a little "progress" by drilling out the lightening holes in the cockpit bulkheads plus spraying the interior parts with Grey Green. Next will be black parts such as the instrument panel, etc. I considered JE-J Jr but decided on JE-J.

Wow Peter! That looks like a big ol' chunk of model building to chew on! LOL

Re-posting AMT/Ertl A-20G completed
JohnB replied to JohnB's topic in LSM 1/32 and Larger Aircraft Ready for Inspection
Thanks Carl. I've had it for quite a while and finally decided to build it as a change of pace. I'm pleased with the way it turned out. -
SHAME ON YOU HARV!!!!
-
Well you know what that means! I'll have to fork out some cash. Thanks for the heads up! I just went there and ordered a Mk VIII. Probably a good thing for my credit card that they don't have any of the Corsairs on sale!!!!!
-
Thanks Peter! Tamiya must put something in their 1/32 kits that makes them addictive.
-
As some of you know, I like to keep something going all the time. LOL So, now that I'm finished with the A-20, I will move on to a Tamiya 1/32 Spitfire Mk IX. I intend to do this one (pictured) BUT that is subject to change. Great kits the Tamiya 1/32 a/c and a pleasure to build. This will be my 6th Tamiya Spitfire. Change of subject. THIS is the one I have decided on.

Thank you Rob. I tried to be careful with the weathering. Didn't want to overdo it! -

Thank you Peter. I'm glad you like it.

I'm going to re-post my completed 1/48 A-20 here. Just leaving it on the WIP thread doesn't seem to get many responses. Admins, you can change this if necessary but I really feel, like Jeff, any completed model should just go in Finished Work. For being a fairly old kit it still has nice detail and good fit. I added the Vector cockpit set and True Details wheels. Also replacement cowlings from Quickboost. Decals are Zotz. Paint is MM.
