Thank you! I appreciate that.

Thus far? This one is done Gaz. Thanks!

FINISHED AMT/Ertl 1/48 A-20G, 312th BG. Paints, as mentioned previously, are all Model Master. The interior green is my own MM mix. After market used was the Vector cockpit set and True Details wheels. Decals are from Zotz. The model went together really well with no real bad fit problems. I hope y'all like it!

This one is done. Pics to follow.

Be careful and don't spray Alclad on too "thick" as it can craze the undercoat and plastic. Two or three lighter coats works best.

I've had good results with Alclad Peter. I usually spray a primer of gloss gray then hit it with Alclad Dk. Aluminum. After that is well dry I can mask off areas I want to spray another shade using Tamiya masking tape. I usually add a few drops of gloss black to some Dk. Aluminum and shoot that on. Then I will use a bit of old t-shirt to buff it out some. Comes out nice and SHINY.

They snuggled down well after I applied some Micro Sol setting solution to help them a bit. Just to be sure!

LOL Rob! When I get around to building it I will do a WIP for sure. Certainly is a strange looking bird.

Straight from the Ukraine! Looking it over it appears to be really 1st class. Excellent detail, etc. I will likely do the silver finish.

You are welcome. I know that 1/32 kit will be nice!

Coming along nicely Tony. Looking goooood!

Yep, Model Master for both. FS34087 OD and FS34079 for the dark green.

I had overlooked the white stripes on the wings. Looking at photos and art in "Rampage of the roaring 20's" you can see some of the a/c had them and some did not. I wonder if it was a tactical marking or sealing tape as it's on the top and bottom of the wings.

Welcome! I look forward to seeing your U-boat build.

Painting, except for a little touchup, completed. Paints are MM which I have a love/hate relationship with. The biggest problem with them, at least for me, is the pigment tends to settle out in the paint cup while painting is in progress. Can be a real PITA sometimes. Next step will be a clear gloss overspray in preparation for decaling.

Thanks Peter. I expect to finish applying the OD today. Then the camo dark green. Coming right along now!
-
Thanks Gaz. I'll have to overspray with a clear gloss before decaling.

Agreed! That certainly would cut down on the crap posted there.

I received a refund for the first one so it won't be showing up. I got the other two but will keep them as I also have a glass nosed A-20 I can use one of them on. Thanks anyway!

LOL Jeff. No, not as far as I know since they said it was a mistake. Business as usual.
