Thanks Ernie. I would still like to build another one and put the French decals on it.
-
Well heck. I think I'll just delete this thread since I was late to the party so to speak.
-
Bummer Hubert! On the upside I won't have to spend a bunch of money for any.
-
I saw where those issues were present in relation to the 1/48 ICM kits so I hope this one will be better.
-
I see where Hobby Boss is showing this kit as a immanent release. If it doesn't cost a arm and a leg I will get at least one. I have decided to dump this thread since I was so late to the party LOL. Will one of the admins help me out here? Thanks!!!
-
Sure, and with one arm behind my back! LOL

JohnB, looks like you have another F4U-1D to build...

I'm considering it for a -1D build at a later date. Overall GSB, etc. -
Share how COVID-19 Quarantine has affected you.

I'm glad I have my hobby to keep me occupied. Otherwise I'd be climbing the walls. LOL As I live alone, the Internet, Prime streaming videos, etc are a great thing to have. It still gets a bit boring at times. -

It seems to me that RFM kits are really nice. I haven't heard of any real problems with them. They sure do have a lot of small fiddly bits though!
-
Although I'm not primarily a armor builder I just had to get these two. No doubt they will build up to be outstanding models.

I have been trying to make up my mind on exactly WHICH -1 to build. Initially I thought I'd do "De Fabe" but I have several that are in very similar schemes. I MAY stick with that one but I AM considering one of the RN birds instead. We will see. As a aside, I feel like Tamiya will release a RN -1D or -1A at some point. The kit has the mid-fuselage vents that were, as far as I know, only on RN a/c. All they would have to do I think is add new wing tips and decals. -

Actually Tim I don't get your drift. There's no one on this site I would "ignore". -

Since the big blowup and exodus from "The other site" I no longer buy anything from that decal maker. -
Thank you!

LOL! Indeed!

Agreed! Thanks.

Thank you. I feel the same way. They just look better in NMF.

LOL Martin!!! I appreciate the very nice comments. You might remember, this was the 2nd one I built. I really liked the kit and wish I had bought another one so I could do one in IndoChina French markings. If I can snag another that's what I'd likely do. Best! John

Thanks! It had it's moments for sure!

Thank you Hubert!

I was going through photos of some of my built models and came on the one's of my 2nd build of the HpH 1/32 P-63C Kingcobra. I really like how this one turned out and I thought I'd share it with you guys since I wasn't in the Group then. Certainly not a shake and bake but it really makes a nice model. If anyone has one of these unbuilt and would part with it let me know.
