  1. A little bit at last. Outdoor taps flowing fairly well but inside just a trickle. I hope it picks up soon so I can take a shower!!!!!
  2. I've used Tamiya kit decals many times. I would prefer them to be a bit thinner but they are still usable.
  3. The model will represent his 1st a/c without the white background to the lettering on the nose.
  4. I plan to use the kit decals although I do have some after market ones which are for his later markings.
  5. Agreed! LOL
  6. The 1st photo sent back from the new Mars probe.
  7. Both style canopies preferred but I wouldn't be upset if it only had the framed canopy. Would be a great addition for the Tamiya 1/32 "D"s.
  8. LOL Seems that way! I'm glad you like the Lanc! Thanks. Hmmmm.....maybe I ought to pick up a Trumpeter P-51B.
  9. LOL It's mostly runoff from my roof.
  10. Very little freezing rain but a lot of snow and sleet. It's starting to thaw just a little but it'll be a while before it's gone. We're still getting night time lows in the teens which isn't helping! Still no water due to broken city mains, etc. As my youngest son used to say when he was very little and we'd try to feed him some baby food he didn't like "Can't like it!"
  11. My front steps.
  12. Wouldn't you know it. As soon as I finish my old Tamiya Lanc HK does this. LOL That's okay though, the Hasegawa kit is a good kit and I enjoyed the build.
  13. Yep, I suppose so Peter.
  14. Things are supposed to get better here tomorrow although the low tonight and tomorrow night is forecast as 16. Still too damn cold! At least I too have lights and heat, just NO FRIGGIN' WATER. And due to all the snow on my steps that has turned into 3" thick ice sheets I can't go out past my porch. Now they are telling us we should have SOME water by Sunday. Give us a break already!!!!
  15. Thanks Peter. Unfortunately that will not work.
  16. Nope. SOL At least it seems the worst is past us although it will stay very cold at night. I think the main cause of the water problem is the city wasn't prepared for how cold it got (1 degree). Lots of distribution lines froze and broke plus the elevated water tanks are mostly empty. Latest prognostication from our esteemed mayor is up to 48 hours and maybe more before we can see relief. I have a small supply of drinking water on hand but it won't last long. I might have to try to get to a store and pick some up IF THEY HAVE ANY. BUMMER!
  17. You are welcome.
  18. I'm not stupid. I had 'em all running last night but they froze anyway. Likely due to the low water pressure we are having.
  19. Since all my water lines are frozen I'm having to melt snow in order to be able to flush the crapper. I sure will be glad when they un-freeze! Now that some of the stuff on the roof is melting a bit just stick a bucket under it. No labor to speak of involved.
  20. I use what I call "Scale Black" which is a mix of MM flat black and flat white. Just enough white to lighten it up a bit. I just eyeball it until I get the shade I want. You don't have to use MM as any brand should do. I just prefer MM. Hope this helps.
  21. Indeed!!! A Corsair on the SOD shelf! LOL
  22. Yes, a bit more snow and more to come. Right now it's sleeting. Rather rare is a understatement! We MIGHT get a sprinkling of snow every winter but THIS is unheard of.
  23. Well crap! Now my water lines have frozen even though I let them run. City is experiencing low water pressure and we are under a boil advisory. I'm glad I have enough H2O in my kettle for my morning coffee!
  24. Yep, they do but I'm out of room for more cases.
  25. I hadn't realized I'd built so many until I decided I better count 'em! LOL P-51's and Corsairs are like rabbits around here!
