  1. Fingers crossed on this one.
  2. I'm glad you are back Peter!!!!!
  3. Thanks Phil. I know it has it's problems but, since I'm aware of them from a previous build, I hope they don't cause too high of a cuss factor. We will see!
  4. With melted butter and salt!
  5. For sure Hubert! I'm hoping it won't be too much of a PITA but we will see!
  6. I manage to "branch out" sometimes Rob!
  7. I have my fingers crossed this one won't have the high "cuss factor" that my 1st one did!
  8. Me too Gaz.
  9. This is my 2nd KH P-39. After the 1st one I said no more of the KH '39's. I hated the kit! LOL As they say, never say never so I'm getting started on this one. The reason I decided to do this is this kit comes with a lot of interior detail parts such as engine, armament, etc. and I want to model it with the panels off showing some of the interior detail. I think the yellow zinc chromate in the nose and engine compartments will really contrast nicely with the OD exterior. As with my previous P-39 builds (Special Hobby and HK) I think a little lengthening of the rear fuselage is in order when you compare the kit fuselage to scale drawings. That's how I see it although other folks may have a different opinion. I plan to use the kit decals for Snooks.
  10. Glad you like it. Thanks.
  11. Which sheets are you asking about Phil? The clear sheets or the Aeromaster ones? Aeromaster is out of business but the decals are on ebay. I just happened to have this sheet in my stash that I bought a good while back when they were still in business. I'm glad you like my '51 build. Thanks!
  12. Thanks Rob. It's nice to have the option to resize, etc markings otherwise not available in 1/32.
  13. LOL Ernie. Thanks!
  14. Thanks. I appreciate that.
  15. I started the build on March 9 and posted several photos along the way. I guess you just overlooked it Martin.
  16. Another build for me of the very nice Tamiya Mustang kit (#8). After market used are Barracudacast wheels, cockpit details, PE breather ports on nose, and canopy rails. I used some Aeromaster 1/48 decals for my markings which I scanned and resized to 1/32 then printed out on clear decal paper using my laser printer. The national markings are from my stash. I had originally planned to do Dick Turner's "Short Fuse" but wasn't able to get satisfactory results for the name with my printer. So here is one of Max Lamb's "Uno Who" a/c. Painted with Alclad. I hope y'all like it!
  17. If you have a recovery disc or a standby external hard drive you might be able to get it sorted out. I have a external hard drive and update it from time to time and it HAS come in handy.
  18. I don't know. That's one of Peter's builds.
  19. I'm just about done with it Phil. I hope to have some photos posted soon.
  20. Thanks' I'll check it out. I have a '51 on the bench right now but it's probably too far along for any civvie mods.
