  1. Wait until you get to placing the cockpit tub and the lower wing/resin wheel wells.
  2. Good luck with this build Ernie. At one point in my build I threw it on the floor and stomped on it (good thing it was on thick carpet!).
  3. Thank you Gaz.
  4. Main painting done. Weathering, etc coming up after adding the walkways.
  5. You have my sincere sympathy Ernie. People can really be a-holes.
  6. The Fly Hurricane Mk II is right up there with poor fitting kits. VERY high cuss-factor.
  7. Congrats Ernie! Well done.
  8. LOL! Patience grasshopper, patience.
  9. That will work! Thanks.
  10. I'll look into that, thanks.
  11. I don't know if that would be satisfactory. The Trumpeter SBD-5 prop works (that's what I used on my NZAF P-40N build). The -3 kit comes with the early prop and the later one if I remember correctly.
  12. I wonder why they discontinued it. You'd think it would sell well especially with the P-40F conversion still available.
  13. Yes, I know but it still isn't listed as available. Bummer.
  14. Thanks Mike. I'm glad you like it.
  15. Still looking. Does anyone have Grey Matter Figures email address? It isn't on their web site.
  16. LOL Gaz. Now if they would only do a -4 Corsair.......
  17. Thanks Carl. It's the Testor's YZC in the 1/4 oz. bottle.
  18. LOL Don't bet the household budget on that.
  19. I agree that it's a PITA to build as the one I built a while back had a very high cuss factor. I started another one a couple of months ago but lost interest and put it on the "to be continued at a later date" shelf. LOL
  20. LOL Ernie. I'd like a HpH A-20 if they ever get it ready to go.
  21. As most of you know I love those Tamiya Corsairs. After the arse busting build of the HB P-61 I need this fun build. So here's a shot of some of the progress on the cockpit. This is the F4U-1A kit which I plan to do as Marion Carl's a/c.
